Amazing value proposition at a great location. If you know someone working at Munich re who can book for you, this place is perfect. Beautiful terrasse next to the Englischer Garten and nice clean rooms

Even with a small room you feel comfortable... great service, view, and Everything !! Much better than nearby hotels. Fully recommended !

This totally recommended to stay if you happen to have a business meeting with Munich Re. The rooms are no more than reasonable, but it is worth for the historic building, the location that is by the English Park and the roof floor which is transparent to the block. The morning breakfast is minimal but with a feeling of a VIP.

Sehr wohlfühlende Einrichtung

Guest house or rather a small hostel of Munich Re. The location is very convenient - very close to main building and N4 building. There is a bus stop right next to guest house and Ubhan station at 5 min walk. There are many eateries at a walking distance of 5-10 mins. The rooms have single beds with storage, study table with chair, a small TV, a closet and a locker. Every room has a attached shower and WC (a very small one). There are no kettle and iron in room. The common facilities include washing machine and dryer, iron table aad two irons, printers, sauna room, a small living area with TV and some books, a Foosball table, a kitchenette, etc. The breakfast is served from Monday to Friday only and is very ordinary with very limited items on menu - mainly bread, butter, jam, corn flakes/museli, coffee, egg, some fruits, smoothies, yougart, etc (it is same everyday).

What is very odd is that there is no reception at the location, no staff or caretaker available in the lodge. Staff who serves breakfast comes in the morning and is there till around 11 and some cleaning staff between 7 to 11. Guest need to check out as early as 10 am and can't leave their luggage behind they need to take it to main building and store it there if they have a evening or night flight.

Overall location is the USP. Not recommended for long stays.

Sadly, I stayed here once. I do not understand how a company like this is allowed to run a house as hotel- surely, a building like this ought to be accessible to all and not just few with connections. So much wrong in such a lovely building in the year 2024.
