Restaurant Sektscheune Zilliken

We came here for dinner. This was excellent experience. Food was really good and tasty. Service is really nice, smile and friendly. They speak in English aswell. Big reccomendation for this place.

Very friendly accomodating family owned restaurant and they also offer wine tastings. We had made a reservation online per e-mail. Pricing a little above average but the quality of the food and the friendly staff made it worthwhile.

Really excellent wine, superb food, great ambience indoors and outdoors, winter and summer. I recommend the Sektscheune without hesitation!

The wine garden is nothing short of fabulous, especially on a balmy summer evening. Only conceivable downside is that they do not have separate areas for smokers and non-smokers...But that is a problem everywhere in Germany. Still five stars though!

To be honest, this was not our first choice, but I am glad we came. Service was amazing from the moment we booked a table -- very efficient, friendly, and welcoming.

I had the duck, hubby had the venison, we shared a bottle of wine and a bottle of sparkling water. We also got a dessert each. Proteins were cooked and seasoned very well: The duck breast was nice and pink, the fat was nicely rendered, and the skin crispy. The venison was so tender you can cut it with a butter knife -- nicely browned on the outside but still pink, tender, and juicy on the inside. Knoedels were nice and suprisingly not too stodgy. The braised cabbage was tart and sweet and complemented the duck well. The wild mushrooms were earthy and worked so well with the venison. Desserts were also tasty -- not too sweet and a nice way to round off dinner. Wine that was recommended by the super nice and sweet server was also spot on.

All in all, we had a very lovely evening for not a ton of money. Very good value (especially when compared to many cities in my home country of Canada). Would gladly return in the future.

We went here Friday evening service was top notch, this is now our favourite restaurant in Nittel. I recommend this place to anyone who loves good service great food and lovely wine.

Very good variety of home wines. Especially try red wines. Food is also delicious. Cosy place...

In der Sektscheune habe ich letzten Freitag mein Hochzeitsdinner für insgesamt 12 Personen genossen. Die Vorbesprechung des Menüs war sehr gut und konstruktiv, am Abend selber war die Tischdeko sehr schön, das 3-Gänge-Menü schmeckte hervorragend und das Service-Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Was will man mehr an einem solchen Tag ?

Maravilhosa experiência de deleite dos sentidos, em especial do palato e da visão, um espaço muito agradável, bem cuidado com pormenores de bom gosto e requinte. No que diz respeito á culinária, tudo muito bom, muito bem confeccionado, a qualidade dos alimentos muito boa e a apresentação dos pratos destaca-se pela subtileza, simplicidade e elegância. Em suma 5 estrelas.

Im wunderschönen Nittel gelegen, befindet sich die Sektscheune Zilliken. Das Weingut bietet gehobene Gastronomie und einen wunderbaren Cremant, nebst hochwertigen Weinen. Die Gastgeber legen viel Wert auf schicke Details, sind gleichzeitig unglaublich freundlich und herzlich. Alles in allem habe ich mich da sehr wohl gefühlt.

Anlässlich einer Tauffeier durften wir im wunderschönen Garten neben üppig tragenden Rebstöcken und blühenden Rosen zu Mittag essen. Im Vorfeld absolut kompetente und unkomplizierte Zusammenstellung der Menü- und Weinauswahl. Der vorzügleiche Service am Tisch, wurde durch ein freundliches Hallo von Familie Zilliken noch unterstrichen. Essen und Weine waren köstlich. Wer ein traumhaftes Ambiente und gutes Essen, verbunden mit freundlicher Zugewandtheit sucht, der ist hier richtig.

Leckeres Essen aus deutscher Küche, guter Wein aus eigenem Hause, nettes und aufmerksames Personal und ein gemütliches Ambiente! Es sollte aber reserviert werden! Die Preise sind etwas gehoben, aber für das Gesamt-Paket OK! Für einen schönen Abend also durchaus empfehlenswert! 🥂🍷👍🤗
