Super nice spot along the M7 Mullerthal Trail. Easy to reach from Mullerthal city in 20 mins through a very easy path. Steep stairs to reach it.

This place is magical! You can park your car at the Schiessentümpel parking lot. From there it is a 10-20min walk, but the walk is not spectacular. There are clear signposts.

If you are in the area you should definitely visit this place!

One of the places everybody needs to visit during their stay in Luxembourg, just a few minutes (by car) from the "Schießentümpel", another must visit place

August 2021:
Beautiful piece of nature. Just a 15 minute, 1 km, walk over a hardened trail to get to this beauty. The road passing this place is currently closed for cars, so you'll need to park at the intersection with the narrow bridge and walk from there. Just go to the far end of the parking away from the road and you'll see the sign. From there just keep going straight until you bump into the water basin which is the source of the water. There's a stair going down which will lead to this place. The footbridge coming from the other side has washed away due to the flooding so that side is blocked or you'll need to get adventurous and climb through the water. There's also a tree that fell down over the path coming from the parking due to the flooding so strollers and wheelchairs will have a hard time reaching this place until they clear the debris.

May 2022:
The bridges in the wooden footpath have been repaired again. If you just want to see this place with a minimal walk, there is a sand patch across the street where this is located where a few cars can park. Just cross the street and in a minute you can reach this place. If that place is full or you don't mind a nice walk, park on either side of this place where the parking lots are to be found and walk over here in about 15 minutes.

Unfortunately I lost my silver medaillon with pics of my Grandma en mother. It was my Moms before I got it. She had it for 50yrs...

Peaceful and soo great place to do trekking. Quiet, clean no crowds.

Mullerthal was as a whole a little disappointing because of how developed it is. The "trails" are serviced by tour buses, so while it's nice that it's accessible to everyone, it's also a little overrun. This place was particularly serene though. It was easy to relax here for a while and forget that there's a road nearby.
