Amazing experience, food was incredible. Schnitzel was unlike anything I have had in the US before. Deserts were equally amazing. Service very good, server interpreted menu and helped us.

I had Strudel and Baked Potato here, both of them were really great. I’m not a Native German speaker but the Owner (I suppose) was really patient and helpful for me to decide on the meal. Really good food, the Strudel with Cream is a must try thing. The location is quite near to the Schlachtensee lake, and you can come here and chill out with friends and have some Beverages and Meals.

Excellent cake. We tried the blueberry streusel cake and the poppyseed streusel cake and both were fresh and delicious. Service was very pleasant too.

Spotted the lovely street this place is on from the S Bahn S1 on way back to Berlin. Pleased I jumped off and found this place. I had the Hirschragout. Shame I didn’t take a picture but it looked and tasted superb. Tender venison. The cranberry was delicious. The service was lovely. A charming young lady was looking after her guests superbly and she apologised for not accepting non German debit cards. Not a problem as there is an ATM two doors up but bring cash if you’re a tourist.
I wish I had room for a dessert. I’ll come back here. I felt very much at home inside the small restaurant. Very cosy.

Very friendly staff, fast service. Chai latte is hot and tasty, asparagus soup is tender, asparagis ist tender&soft, dorado is always good. And national dessert made of apricots is divine

Very welcoming and wonderful service! Happily surprised to find traditional German and Austrian classics like Kaiserschmarrn. Highly recommend for either kaffee und kuchen or a full meal.

Always a pleasure. Food is excellent and the service is outstanding. My best tip as a visitor would be to ask for the check early if you have somewhere to be. ;)

We visited Schlachtensee and came upon this little gem. My friend had original wiener schnitzel and I had the Marillenknoedl. Just like in Austria. They're busy and you might have to wait a moment for your food but we'll be back.

Best Austrian restaurant in Berlin. Great food and service. I have eaten there often.

Everything on the menu is delicious and for a good bid desert try the Kaiserschmarrn you'll be in heaven

Best place in Zehlendorf!

Wir hatten einen Tisch für zwei Personen zum Kaffeetrinken vorbestellt und draußen gesessen. Wir wurden nett und freundlich bedient. Das Essen (großer Salat mit Thunfisch, Mohnkuchen und Blaubeer-Buttermilchtorte) schmeckte uns sehr gut! Der Milchkaffee war lecker, der große Kaffee etwas bitter. Wir fanden es sehr gemütlich, uns hat es gefallen!

Mein Lieblings Restaurant am Schlachtensee! Sehr leckere Schnitzel und auch die anderen Speisen die ich bisher probiert habe sind toll. Die Käsespätzle sind beispielsweise sehr zu empfehlen.

Ab Frühling/Sommer ist es sehr schön draußen zu sitzen. Das Personal ist immer super freundlich und bemüht. Ein kleiner Besserungsvorschlag wäre in Zukunft auch Kreditkartenzahlung zu akzeptieren. Das ist allerdings nur eine Kleinigkeit.

Waren heute Mittagessen, zwischen Badepausen am See. Sehr leckere Schnitzel und außerordentlich leckerer karamellisierter Kaiserschmarren. Der Service war auch so aufmerksam und hilfsbereit, hat uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen, ohne dass wir ihn geäußert haben. Sehr familienfreundlich.

Absolut überzeugt: am Oktoberabend noch gemütlich bei den Temperaturen draußen gesessen, super freundlich und zuvorkommend (mit sehr guter Beratung) bedient und sehr leckeres Essen als I-Tüpfelchen. Kann man wärmstens empfehlen, Preis-Leistung für die Gegend auch gut. Wir kommen wieder!
