Café-Hotel Greinwald

Family run Restaurant with a Vienna style atmosphere. A wide a varied selection of cakes and in-house confectionary created by the owner who is a master chocolatier. Food is of a very high standard and always fresh I recommend the regional “Krustenbraten & Semmelknödel”. The staff are very attentive and friendly. We were there for lunch and it got quite busy. I would certainly recommend that one books a table in advance.

Nice modern rooms, good size bathroom also modern. Clean rooms, great service, and reasonably priced. The complimentary homemade chocolates on our check out/departure were superb! If I knew how good they were, I would have bought some from the in hotel cafe! Sehr gut!

The Hotel is very nice, comfortable and clean, the spacious rooms as seen on the web. The staff is very friendly and its owners are attentive to the needs of the guests, two of our children are celiac and were able to eat delicious and homemade The only thing I would change are the pillows and it would be nice to have a place with armchairs to relax and spend some time outside the room. 100% recommended!

I have been coming to Hotel Greinwald for a few years now and the stay is always relaxing and enjoyable. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable, modern and extremely clean. Breakfast is also a great experience with lots of choice and attentive staff on hand. The only problem with the place is the hand made chocolates on sale in the shop - they are too hard to resist! I will keep coming back!

Good Sunday brunch, attentive service and spacious dining area (we were seated immediately, even if we did not have a reservation). The cakes looked very inviting too, I wish we could go back to try them :-)

Very welcoming place. The owners take great care of their customers. They have nice staff, good food, excellent Wifi connection, large bedrooms with a small fridge included and heating floor in the bathroom.

Atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for the owners and staff who do a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality!

The stay at Hotel Greinwald was lovely. The rooms are clean and renovated with spacious showers. Breakfast every morning, despite the current COVID restrictions, included everything we needed and eggs were even cooked on request. If we were hungry in the afternoon, the in-house bakery had cakes and pastries ready! The staff is friendly and the town lets you easily access hiking paths around the area and beautiful lakes for activities.

Sehr schönes sauberes und gepflegtes Hotel. Das Frühstück ist sehr üppig und auf Wunsch bekommt man jede Kaffeespezialität und auch sein Ei wie man es möchte. Der Service ist sehr freundlich. Auch eine spätere Anreise in der Nacht ist kein Problem.

Wir waren dort zum Eis-Essen und der Chef selbst hat noch angepackt und war sehr nett. Wir hätten uns gerne noch unterhalten waren aber etwas unter Zeitdruck. Trotzdem ist es hier immer sehr angenehm und eine Empfehlung wert.
