We stopped there with our van for dinner when it was closing time and they were so kind to still serve us. The place is beautiful, quiet and the service very quick and kind. Prices are low considered the place and service. After a night in van, we also had there our hotel style breakfast with lot of warm bread, eggs, juices, coffee....Lovely! The surrounding is very nice, there is nearby a treetop corridor on the old building that made the story of the town and is very fascinating. There is also a barefoot park but it's for young kids.

Stayed 1 night with our shepherd dog, when travelling through Europe, room was big and clean, bathroom was nice, everything about the stay was lovely. There was enough space for a big dog, the floors are soft so during the night we weren’t woken up the dog claws clanking on the floor.

The absolute highlight was the breakfast! Super delicious meats and cheeses, freshly baked rolls; coffee and juice; local jams (gooseberry one was amazing!) and some fruit to boot. 10/10

I came specifically from Berlin on a 120 km bike ride. Interesting menu, tasty dishes with ethically sound sourcing (a farm-to-table philosophy). Good balance between wholesome and delicious. Great care in the sourcing of high quality raw materials for a fair price. Nice ambience. Very congenial service. They were kind enough to accomodate my racing bike in the backyard shed, under lock and key for complete safety and peace of mind. This is great hospitality right here. I'm very impressed and will be back to try other items in the menu.

The very good restaurant in the little village Beelitz in the southwest of Berlin/Potsdam (ca. 20 to 40 min with the train) offers a small but well sorted menu, very friendly staff with humor and a well organized, designed and clean restaurant. The food is between very good to excellent prepared and cooked. Some very small and minor flaws are there, but it doesn't count much in the overall experience. The pricing is very reasonable (almost cheap). I had two huge house-made lemonades, a starter (a very good and tasty soup), a main course (well prepared fish) and a dessert (regional plum ice cream, lactose free with roasted pumpkin seeds chocolate) for just rounded 45 Euro (without tipp). Starter and dessert where complaining free great. The main course was good and solid cooked with very little flaws, but overall tasty and satisfying. Thanks for the great experience and the very very friendly and hearty Welcome. I can recommend the restaurant without any hesitation! Try it out if you are visiting Beelitz. ❤

Regional and down to earth. The house made lemonades are remarkable (I had the one with lavender and cucumber, and tried the elderflower and lime, and mandarin lemonades). My starter (tartar) was of very high quality. The main course (Schnitzel with potato salad) was heaven and the desert (elderberry ice-cream) was the perfect ending. Very fair prices and a passionate team. I can only recommend lokal genial if you are in the area. It's also a good destination for a bike trip from Berlin to Beelitz.

What an amazing restaurant. Cozy location, super delicious and friendly staff. Everything was just perfect. Everything, from starter (mozzarella) over main (asparagus with fish and sauce hollandaise) to dessert (cheesecake in a glass) has been absolutely delicious. We are coming back. Thank you!

Great little restaurant with local ingredients/meat (if possible), perfectly prepared and little play garden for kids (also for older kids). Nice Terrasse and winter garden for colder season.

Pricing is right for the quality but not cheap. We paid 90 euro including tip for 2 of the expensive main meals, drinks and 2 kids meals. Portions are big enough.

Will come back again.

Great regional food with attentive service

What a wonderful place with local high quality products. The taste of potatoes with Rosmarin was perfect and the tomatoes tastes lovely. The steak was en point, couldn’t have been better.

Das war Erlebnis Gastronomie vom feinsten. Viel regionales interessant neu . Trotz einer größeren Gesellschaft leidet weder Bedienung noch Essen. Alle waren sehr nett und wussten auch was sie zum Tisch brachten. Kurz gesagt. Wir kommen wieder . Ganz bestimmt.

Auf den Weg nach Klaistow (zur Kürbis-Saison) haben wir einen Zwischenstopp im Restaurant "Lokal Genial" eingelegt. Bei schönem Wetter konnten wir herrlich draußen im schönen Garten sitzen. Dort haben wir gegessen und waren mehr als zufrieden. Das Essen war hervorragend, die Portionen reichlich und das Personal super nett. Daher können wir das Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Wir jedenfalls kommen bestimmt wieder :-)

Lokal Genial ist einfach beschrieben. Es ist total Genial!
Alles sehr schön sauber und gepflegt. Das Personal ist freundlich und darüber hinaus auch sehr sympathisch.
Nun zum Essen, wir hatten einen Käse-Kuh Burger mit Pommes Rot/Weiß bzw. mit Süßkartoffel-Pommes und hausgemachtes Aioli. Es war einfach nur Mega lecker.
Die Preise sind absolut angemessen für das was man hier bekommt.
Vielen Dank, macht weiter so.

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit im Lokal genial gefeiert und es war absolut perfekt. Markus (Inhaber) und das gesamte Team waren schon im Vorfeld, aber vor allem am Tag der Hochzeit super engagiert und haben uns alle Wünsche von den Lippen abgelesen. Das Essen war ein Traum und ein absolutes Highlight für uns. Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt und können lokal genial sowohl als Hochzeitslocation als auch als Restaurant und Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!!

Wow, man fühlt sich sofort wie zu Hause. Das Zimmer ist riesengroß mit allem, was man sich wünschen kann. Die Begrüßung als Willkommen ist einfach Spitzenklasse. Man merkt den Mitarbeitern an, dass sie Spaß an der Arbeit haben. Ausreichend Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Ob draußen oder drinnen es ist mit vielen Details an alles gedacht.

Wir durften eine Nacht im "Lokal Genial" verbringen und aßen dort zu Abend und Frühstück. Die Speisen waren herausragend, der Service freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Ambiente ist sehr stimmig, modern. Das Zimmer hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Es war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und der Übernachtungspreis aus unserer Sicht günstig. Wir würden wieder kommen, wenn wir noch einmal die Nähe kämen.
