Restaurant L'italiano Pizza e Pasta Bar

The ambient was amazing. After a long day of work on a cold German night. You can see a the burners on. Which gives you the option to eat outside or inside. They have a larger wine 🍷 selection and the lasagna CHEF! Is my favorite and I might venture away from it but I love it. The delivery is done with a deep dish. Which is bubbling hot and you can smell all the aromas. It smells delicious and it’s so good. The portion is so satisfying and it’s a walk away from and indoor mall. It’s a smaller mall but I like to walk off my dinner. I usually walk after dinner. Their is a large park across this city center to walk around and the building add to the experience. My hotel is a 5 min drive or a 10 min walk. So this is the 3 time I order the lasagna and it has me coming for more.

I loved my experience , there was no long wait for my meal , waiter/ waitress are attentive and food was really good.

Solid 4.5 stars for L'italiano pizza and pasta bar. Service was great and food was fantastic. Sat outside in their enclosed dining area with two friends. Tables were spaced enough apart as to provide some semblance individual parties. Food portions were actually pretty good size for Europe. Only thing to be aware of is it is EURO only. They do not take credit cards or US dollars so plan ahead. The attached picture is of their lasagna.

The staff was outstanding! Very kind and friendly and they were nice about us not speaking german. Shoutout to Sara, probably the best server that I’ve ever come across💘
The food was delicious, it was affordable and highly recommend it. The red wine was amazing.

I reviewed this place like a year ago and when I look back on the review I feel I didn't adequately paint the picture. This is a small restaurant but it makes up with their amazing staff. Everytime I'm here I see Sara (the super hero waitress) attending to everyone in such a personal way, she remembers everyone and what is going on in their lives. Looking at some of the not so good reviews on here I can personally say that all my food came out in an appropriate amount of time even when it was busy and everything I have ordered has been exceptional! People have their days so I can only assume the negative reviews were based off an off day, I've been coming here for almost 3yrs and have never been disappointed. While the food is super amazing I won't lie I continue to come back for Sara. She is a super star here for sure. My favorite place to go in the altstadt.

First time here and the food was amazing ! I have trouble finding a place for pizza especially but this place didn’t disappoint . We also had the lasagna Al Forno and it was delicious. Our waitress Sarah took care of us the whole time and made sure we were taken care of . Ladies I highly suggest the “ HUGO “ it’s fire . Definitely recommend this place for date night ! Will definitely be coming again !

An absolutely wonderful dining experience, Sara was an amazing host who couldn’t have done any better. I recommend this place to everyone and anyone.

What amazing Pizza and food!! What makes dining out even better is the staff! Sarah is my go to but everyone was super friendly and attentive.
