OYE Records

This is my favourite record store in Berlin for electronic music. Vibe and staff are always top notch, the selection is good and they have enough record players. Note of merit goes to the lady that helped me this morning: I came to buy one record and got out with three. She understood the sound I was looking for and came with different options, from records to labels. Great shop!

Great record store ! You can pick a few options and listen to them before buying records. You will find less used vinyls in general as I understand, and more new ones. Fair prices I would say.

At first the nice decorations outside caught my eye, not to mention the very wide selection. But sadly the store was closed. Though luckily the kind-hearted owner let us in. Not only that but he also was really helpfull with helping us find what we were looking for. And the whole time he stayed kind, helpfull and smiling wich we are thankfull for. I definately recomend this store for someone who is looking for any genre of records and once again thank you to the amazing owner.

This is one of the two best record stores of Berlin. The other being Melting Point. Oye has two stores and it has been voted as no.47 In the list of the World’s Best Vinyl Stores by The Vinyl Factory. Why you may ask… three reasons - Toby the owner who is one of the kindest, knowledgable and wonderful people of Berlin…. Secondly, the great collection of records - predominantly dance, house, electro, new age pop BUT they have a huge stash of second hand records of amazing retro rock, OSTs, jazz, blues and more… thirdly, the prices - very generous in their assessment of records - I picked up 13 vinyls for 45 euros incl Beatles Rubber Soul, a double album of The Doors, a triple vinyl of The Last Waltz, two soul records, a Lennon record and more - and the vibe of the store is amazing with several listening stations and boxes of records that you can sift through. Toby you are an absolute sweetheart!! If you are in Berlin - then head to this store at Oderberger Street 4!!

Nice local record store specializing in techno dance funk etc but with a decent Jazz, alternative an drop section. Some second hand goodies expertly cleaned. Owner seems knowledgeable and happy to talk shop. If you are in to vinyl CD and tapes! Stop in.

Amazing store. One of the best! Especially for electronic music. A lot of selection, the guy of the store understood immediately what i was searching for.. and he started to select many records that at the end i bought! I will come back there soon!

Enjoyed my visit to this records shop. Great selection of vinyl, techno, house, wave etc. Small selection of cds also. Plenty of record players to check out potential purchases, the staff were very friendly, shout out the the North American lad who suggested a few lps. I'd have like to have seen more metal records in there, not talking about Iron Maiden etc, more so Carcass, Pallbearer etc.

The best vinyl store in the city. People there where so nice, they will welcome you with a big smile and they will help you find what you need. I didn’t saw that in any other record store in the city. Also their catalog is really well organized. Thanks OYE for the good environment.

Best records store in Berlin

Great store with good selection. They have a whole room dedicated to house with all the subgenres you can think of. Good selection of soul and r&b and some uncommon hip hop releases. Didn't see too much in the way of indie rock but plenty here to keep you occupied.

The staff are friendly and enjoy talking about music. The gentleman behind the counter with short hair was enthusiastic about a new release I asked him about. He went out of his way to find me an open copy that I could listen to on one of their turntables. If you think that's wasted effort, I totally bought the record because I enjoyed the music.

I look forward to visiting next time I'm in Berlin.

Wide selection of records in a spacious, well-located store. Prices are very fair as well. Best of all, the part-owner who runs the store, Tinko, is a great guy - happy to chat and full of information! One of the best record stores in Berlin, undoubtedly.

My favorite record shop in the world. Everytime I come to Berlin I go there and find rarities I didn't think I'd find one day. The owners are very nice and will help you discover things if you don't know where to look. Heaven !
