Maan-Guitars

Craftsmanship like no other! After months of searching for a left handed bass for my girlfriend and being given the cold shoulder by Fender. We decided to reach out to Maan Guitars for a custom build. He took our specifications and request for a 30in shortscale neck and our preferred wood options to build a battle axe unlike anything she or I had played in the past. The action is low, the scale is proportionate to her playing range, and the entire build weighs less than 5 pounds. Setup with the active EMG Jazz bass pickups by request, the sound it produces has loads of attack and tonal variety with a 3 way toggle to separate bridge and neck tones. This is the first bass produced by Maan, and is left handed also! His work is nothing short of an absolute masterpiece! I would recommend his craft to anyone interested in a one of a kind instrument that's versatile, lightweight, and capable of playing in any situation.

Im just gonna make a list of all the key points with a little description of why you should get a guitar from this guy.

- Communication
I sent him a very simple message on whatsapp and we got started right away. We talked about body modifications, finishes, woods and whatnot to get to the best result. I got pictures of the process and he gave tips and advise on all the options at every stage of the build. Communication was a 10/10

- Design
The designs are just really cool and unique. I really wanted something more streamlined so we got to this design, creating the custom series.

- Neck
He does this really, and i mean REALLY, nice neck profile. Its so good that it deserves it’s own section. It just compliments exactly what your hands want to do. Would recommend it to everyone.

- Pricing
A LOT of custom builders have a starting price of like 2500 euros. These start about 1000 euros lower if you were to take just some basic options. My guitar got to 2400 euros which is considering all the modifications and options I chose a very good price.

- Hardware
He makes his own headless hardware and it feels really nice to use. The tuners are smooth and easy to turn. The bridge feels really soft and is very comfortable for my hand.

So, is there a reason why you would NOT want a guitar from this guy? Honestly I don’t think so. Im definitely gonna get a second guitar from this man at some point in the future.

Young luthier with interesting designs, good ideas and a good set of hands. Build quality is good. Not flawless (yet) like the bigger brands but that is another pricerang all together.
I reacted on an Facebook November deal and was very pleasantly surprised by the guitar I received! It is beautiful, sounds good and plays very well! It is now my main sevenstring. Also, dealing with Maan is a real pleasure. Responds quickly to any questions you might have and is an all around nice guy. Highly recommended!👍👍

I ordered a beautiful guitar which was in stock. Before delivering the guitar it was finalized and Maan kept me updated about the process and provided pictures and videos. After I had received the guitar Maan was also very helpful and guided me how to fine tune it. Buying a guitar from Maan was a very pleasant experience :)

Als Schlagzeuger von Our Silent Voice habe ich vor circa drei Jahren angefangen Gitarre zu spielen, um mich aktiv am Songwriting zu beteiligen. Für mich war dann Anfang des Jahres der Moment gekommen, ein hochwertiges und leistungsstarkes Instrument anzuschaffen.
Da ich unbedingt eine Headless wollte und diese von den namhaften Herstellern nur zu sehr hohen Preisen und mit wenig Variationen erhältlich sind, habe ich mich entschieden mir eine Gitarre bauen zu lassen und bin wegen der guten Bewertungen und den wirklich genialen Designs schnell auf Maan Guitars gestoßen.
Nach der ersten Kontaktaufnahme wurde mir schnell und unkompliziert eine Gitarre zum Probespielen zugeschickt und ich war restlos begeistert und habe meine eigene Gitarre in Auftrag gegeben.
Der gesamte Prozess zeichnet sich durch ständigen, qualifizierten und offenen Austausch aus, in dem die Gitarre als Kooperation entsteht und bis ins kleinste Detail an meine Wünsche angepasst wurde. Alle Fragen wurden kompetent und schnell beantwortet und alle Schritte, von der Holzwahl bis zu den Einlagen im Griffbrett, gemeinsam besprochen und geplant.
Als die Gitarre dann bei mir eintraf, war ich restlost begeistert und vollends von meiner Entscheidung überzeugt. Das ergebnis übertrifft alle Erwartungen und mir wurde von Maan Guitars eine Gitarre geschaffen, die genau meinen Wünschen entspricht, die unglaublich aussieht und klanglich mehr als beeindruckt.
Jeder, der mit dem Gedanken spielt sich für 1000€ plus eine Headless zuzulegen und diese genau nach seinen Wünschen gestalten will und an der Entstehung hautnah beteiligt sein will kommt nicht um Maan Guitars herum!

Ich war am Anfang skeptisch, habe aber dennoch meine eigene Gitarre konfiguriert. Als ich die Gitarre bekommen und ausgepackt habe war ich einfach nur begeistert. Geiles Design und genau so wie ich sie mir vorgestellt habe.
Das Halsprofil und die tiefe Saitenlage laden zum Spielen ein. Der interne Verstärker ist nice to have aber ich schließe sie meistens an meinen Line6 Verstärker an. Für jemanden, der eine geile Gitarre besitzen möchte und bestimmte Vorstellungen im Kopf hat, wie seine Gitarre aussehen soll, eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Absolute Metal Bestie, optisch wie klanglich.
Sauber verarbeitet und gut bespielbar.
