Rudolph Tegners Museum and Statue Park

If I could put 6 stars out of 5, I will certainly do it. Amazing hidden gem. The sculptures are just mind-blowing! Certainly worth a visit. Not even to mention the park nearby. The musical performance plays every two hours next to the museum entrance and also is great.

Very much worth the trip. The exhibition costs 70,- for adults and is free for kids (up to 18 years). Statues are very impressive and the surrounding park offers beautiful nature and a 2km roundtrip. If you're in the area this is a great place to visit.

Awesome collection of beautiful sculptors. Interesting placement of the modern concrete museum located right on the top of a meadow with cows grazing nearby.
I personally think that such a great artist deserves more space (inside the building) to present his work, some of the sculptors are huge and it feels like they’re piled on top of one another like in a warehouse.
Also, if you arrive by train, make sure you wear good trekking shoes as the walk to the museum takes you through a huge meadow on a very slim path carved by dog walkers, through some muddy areas which I wasn’t prepared for. It would be nice if there was a wooden cover over the muddy field and some signage with direction.

Beautiful area, with sheep grazing down the premises and Tegners fantastic sculptures/castings arranged throughout. Certainly worth the visit when on a trip up by Helsingor!

A must for visitors to Denmark - especially in summer months. Such a powerful sculpture exhibition both indoors and outside in the nature. Truly one of the most delightful museums I have visited.

A supreme artist! Both the collection exhibited indoors and sculpture park are great. Worthy of a trip from Copenhagen. Just a minus for the parallel exhibition of contemporary painting which is really mediocre and does not dialogue at all with the work of Tegner.

It's amazing place to see and specially if its nice weather and you love art.

Very nice outdoor museum. It is possible to bring a stroller, but difficult to move around if you want to explore outside the main rute (but not impossible if you can carry it @ few times)

Beautiful, huge expanse to walk, explore and maybe do a picnic.

Fantastic terrain here. Great for a walk and a good view of surroundings, including the nearby ocean.

This is wonderful park with status spread all over. It’s a bit wild nature at the same time.
Worth a visit!!

Wonderfully located in the "Russia" of Northern Sealand, this provocative piece of architecture is home to a number of Tegner's works and plaster casts. Don't miss a walk in the park, where a lot of his work is also on display.

Amazing place. A must see. Worth travelling for.

A wonderfull artist. I saw his sculptures in Copenhagen and in Helsingoer, then I found this gem of a museum hidden in the north of Zeeland, in an area called Rusland (Russia). You can take a walk around the ground and see some of his statues placed with the special nature of Rusland as the background. In the museum You can follow the artist Tegner sculptures raging from a wonderful romantic period into a period with a more modern influence. I recommend that you have your own lunch with you and an umbrella for the walk around the area in the summertime, but the museum is worth a visit all year round.

A very interesting place, Incredible statues. Even if you have no interest in classical art please try to visit this place if you can.
