Hacienda Guachala

This was such a cool and unique place! There is a lot of history at this location (you can read more about it in the museum, which is an old church). The rooms are really unique, but spacious. There is no heat, but they give you wood and kindling to start a fire in your fireplace. We honestly didn’t need heat to sleep though—the beds were quite warm and the walls are insulated well. The staff was nice and the food was great. Just a beautiful location.

Beautiful and historical landmark with plenty of activities to do. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautiful. You can lit the chimney to warm the room up for the night. Showers are amazing. The gardens are very pretty and the people who owe it are very gentle, attentive and professional. I went there with my family and we had a blast. They have an area for camping too. The church is my favorite place, they also have a chapel and pool.

A nice 16th century building made restaurant and inn, it has a pool and you can go horseback riding on the property. The attention is good. Nice place to relax with nature.

Great place with so much old history. Great authentic dinner. I had to buy their bamboo spirits. It is great!

As I strolled through the old Hacienda I felt like I was being transported back in time where I could see the Looms still weaving away at the fabric that the indigenous people had to make for their landlords so I has to pay able to pay their debts.

It is a wonderful hacienda that has been maintained very well that makes you feel like you could see exactly what it was like to live as either indigenous person paying off their debt or live richly as one of the Hacienda owners.

It was a wonderful few days of respite after summiting Volcan cayambe so as to simmer in some wonderful geopolitical history of the area and simply go back in time to simpler... And much more brutal era.

We love returning to this place every time we're in the neighborhood. This time, for lunch we had tomato soup and grilled trout. Splendid!

Me encantó el lugar . Es un paraíso, lugar para descansar y pasar a conocer muchas maravillas de ese pueblo, la comida deliciosa, con un paisaje único .

Muy especial por lo antiguo de las edificaciones y su historia. Tranquilo, hermoso para descansar. Una atmósfera única y especial.

Excelente experiencia para disfrutar de una buena comida y de un lugar diferente

Es un lugar increíble donde puedes ver, oler la historia de ese lugar que cuenta con lugares llenos de historias del lugar como del país, lastimosamente hay partes que están descuidadas y les entra agua y se ha perdido murales de gran importancia histórica, pero pese a eso es un lugar único listos para que vayan a conocer y recorrer sus patios, sus pasillos un lugar mágico.

Es un sitio muy hermoso, aquí los venados conviven los las personas, son muy dóciles, lo recomiendo vayan con su familia la entrada cuesta 3 dólares, saludos para todos.

Es lugar simplemente maravilloso su estadía es muy cómoda
