Stopped in for a cocktail and a snack on a Saturday afternoon. Had the cocktail of the day which was served warm and made with sugar cane liquor, infused with seasonal fruit & garnished with fresh sprigs of herbs. (Having just visited a nearby family farm, I was able to recognize and appreciate these local ingredients). A delicious testament to a beautiful area!

A beautifully created and executed meal! Absolutely top quality ingredients with delicious flavour combinations. If you are travelling through this area, I highly recommend making a reservation and treating yourself to a fabulous food experience!

We did the tasting experience, and it was INCREDIBLE! Every dish was delicious, and with 5 drinks (3 alcoholic) and 8 plates the price was well worth it. The service was also perfect, with our waitress even checking in to see how the pace in between plates was. My only tip to anyone interested is to know this will take at least 3 hours. My partner and I assume 2 hours would be enough time, and ended up rushing at the end because we had other plans we were getting to be very late for. This menu is an ~experience~ above all, so make sure you leave enough time to do it right.

One of the finest restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of visiting and in south Ecuador!Certainly an expected delight in the lovely town. Incredible food with even better presentation and a real grounded taste of local flavors. Cooked with lots of heart. Don’t be like me and accidentally find this restaurant make sure it is on your list of must see destinations.

ShamuiCo restaurant in Saraguro, Ecuador is the best in town. The gastronomic experience is exceptional, with explosive flavors and the use of local products. The craft beer, "cerveza artesanal Pintak," is delicious. Live local music adds to the ambiance. The presentation of each dish is amazing. ShamuiCo is a must-visit in Saraguro.

It is located in Saraguro, please if you go there try this amazing dish “filete a la ternera” it was very tasty and the price is good

What an unexpected gem in this little town. This was a really creative, exciting tasting menu that had a strong sense of place. It was fun to try so many Ecuadorian staples remade into a fine dining tasting menu.
