Laguna De Limpiopungo

Amazing site. It was a challenging hike to climb back up. Going down can be a bit slippery, so good shoes are recommended. There are horses on the bottom that you can pay for to take you back up but think about how hard those horses have to work in the heat or rain. Go with your physical ability. It's steep going back up.
There are a lot of local items shops and some restaurants.

Beautiful. All the landscape views are amazing. This place is full of peace, you can see some animals like the gaviota andina.

Take your time to go around, and watch out, always new plants, birds and for sure views, please stay strictly on the walkways, specially in breeding season, it's a very sensitive area, already level of water very low.

Cute laguna with a great range of flaura. Recommend passing by when returning from the refuge.

Perfect view of Cotopaxi volcano, you can see some wild horses and birds around. Bring your jacket because is cold.
