Cafe Mar

We loved this place. It has a great vibe, is right beside the beach, and has an incredible menu full of vegan and vegetarian options. It's not common to find a place that's veggie-friendly where you can get a meal for $5-6. Highly recommended!

Good location along the beach, the menu offers great healthy options (a rarity in this area), and the owner is very friendly and accommodating. Also a nice place to have a coffee, relax, people watch, and socialize:)

I was happy to get a plate full of veggies in a tasty sauce (doesn't seem like restaurants in Ecuador include many veggies). The owner even went out of his way to put it in a to go box for me so I could eat in bed with my chocolate :D

Atención regular, lenta, comida abundante y sabrosa. Opciones vegetarianas. Jugos naturales con o sin azúcar.

Accueil détestable! Le propriétaire ne dit même pas bonjour, il faut aller le chercher. On se fait presque engueuler au moment de la commande et pour payer. Dommage les plats étaient bons. Nous n'y remettrons pas les pieds.

One of the worst vegetarians I've ever tried.
The restaurant needs at least a layer of fresh paint and extra care.
Also the smell makes impossible to eat something unless you take the tables outside.
You have soooo many really good options around vegetarians or not, that'd be better not to pick this place. A waste of time, money and stomach space for other delicious food.

Doesn’t exist

Der Besitzer ist sehr unfreundlich, spricht kein Wort mit seinen Gästen. Das Frühstück war leider sehr schlecht: trockene Brötchen mit wenig Ei beim Desayuno Americano, der Jugo war nicht richtig püriert und hatte Fruchtfäden darin. Der Pancake war ungenießbar - nicht richtig durch auf der einen, angebrannt auf der anderen Seite uns schwimmend in einer undefinierbaren Soße. Auch am Ende hat der Besitzer nicht gefragt, warum wir die Hälfte zurückgeben haben. Fazit: nicht zu empfehlen!!

Mala actitud del dueño, se portó grosero con mi familia. Al parecer solo le preocupa la atención a los extranjeros. No había agua en el baño y estaba muy sucio. La comida no es nada especial. NO RECOMENDADO!
