Sillamae Muuseum

Very awesome place - for 3€ per person we got an individualized excursion and local guidence in Russian. A lot of information about Sillamae history - suggest you to read a bit of Soviet history and a bit of history of Sillamae at least in Wikipedia.

Wide collection of Soviet Estonia lifestyle items. Also wide doll and mineral collection.

Overall, suggesting to visit this place if you are in Sillamae already.😊

Small but fascinating museum pieces , from different ages.
Not much English, but there was a lady who I paid to be a guide , very much worth it.
Learnt quite a bit, lots of old record players , from older days ,fantastic collection!
Worth a visit , I spent an hour or so !
Parking available right outside

Definitely recommend visiting and taking the guided tour. Very personable and you learn about the neat history of this closed nuclear city during the Soviet Union. The historic objects they have are interesting too. Personal tour was only 10 euro on top of 3 euro entrance fee

Beautiful small museum of everything related to the history of Sillamäe. There are several expositions of different subjects from geology to historical toys.

Il piccolo museo della cittadina di Sillamae offre una collezione di materiale relativo alla vita di una volta che vale la pena di ammirare. La visita vi porterà via poco tempo e pochi euro, ma vi offrirà l'occasione per lanciare uno sguardo nel passato di questa interessante cittadina estone ed ex-sovietica. Molto simpatica la signora che ci ha accompagnati nella visita!

Pieni museo kätkee sisäänsä paljon erilaista sisältöä. Kaikkein eniten museon anti aukea kun oppaan saat kierroksellesi mukaan. Heillä myös suomea puhuva opas, kannattaa etukäteen tiedustella onko paikalla.

Очень интересный музей истории города. Преданные своему делу замечательные экскурсоводы и интересная экспозиция. На первом этаде 4 тематических зала, на втором - один. На втором этаже ещё и выставка картин ;)
Внизу сувенирная лавка, где можно купить магнитики и прочие памятные штучки ;)
Стоимость посещения адекватная. А по "семейному" тарифу - вообще чудесная ;)

Huvitav muuseum, kus tutvustatakse linna ajalugu. Inimeste tegevusalasid, erinevad spordiseltsid, laulukoorid. Sillamäe oli Peterburi haritlaste suvituskohaks. Väike nostalgia põige 1950. aastatesse, kui tutvustatakse kohalikku elamist. Ei puudu ka napp meenutus II maailmasõjast. Vaade talumajapidamisse. Ulatuslik väljapanek kivimitest ja kivististest. Teisel korrusel terve tuba muusika instrumentidele. Arvestada võiks, et palju on infot vene keeles. Võimalik soetada suveniire. Töötajad on sõbralikud ning tutvustavad väljapanekut.

Очень много интересного можно узнать в стенах этого музея. Два часа времени пролетели как десять минут. Информация, интерес, изумление...и немного сувениров😁

Маленький, скромный, но очень интересный музей.
