Amazing place to hike! During summer time also doable with flipflops! When its warm, have a nice swim in a bog lake. Convenient car parking only fewhundred meters from a main road.

Absolutely brilliant place to visit. Varied landscapes and scenery, from wide open bog to rich forest, very well constructed walkways to a tower with one of the best views in Europe. Highly recommended!

Parking at starting point can fit about 20 cars.

Great hiking trail, it is about 4.4 km long one way, some parts of the road is pretty wet in spring and in open bog area might be very windy, so be prepared with proper shoes and clothes.

At the end ot the trail you will find small observation tower and number of lakes. In summer might be even possible to swim there.

Excellent hike. There is an observation tower at the end of the path, next to a small pond, that one could take a swim in.
The nearby parking lot is well situated close to the road, and offers several parking spots for cars and busses.

Marimetsa hiking trail is interesting trail in a good way. It’s unique because of it’s straight wooden pathways that will lead you directly to the tower. Where you can see over the bog. I recommend to go there early in the morning or late in the evening before sunrise and sunset. Colours that you will experience are amazing and will reflect from the wooden trail. There’s also small swimming lake that’s deep enough even for ice swimming although this location is remote and you need to cut the hole by yourself if your interested

Very cool walk hike across a large plane, looking like a savanna with a refreshing and pretty swimming pond and viewing platform in the center of the bog. The hike was longer than anticipated though and you walk the majority of the way in the sun without any shade. So take enough water and a hat with you.

It is nearly an hour walk to reach the bog lakes. I'd say these are one of the nicest bog lakes to swim in! the boardwalk was surrounded by local orchids (purple and white).

1 point missing is the lackluster forest section of the camping trip, once You get out of there, it's a really different experience.

Trail is 9 km long. Little minus is that it's not circular. Half way there is a lookout tower and little bogs one can swim in. Do not jump into the water from the terrace! There were some wood branches or something at the bottom of the bog.

A nice bog to hike. It’s around 9km long so it won’t take to long to walk to the end the tower and back :)

Wonderful nature... the path starts in meadows, then goes through a diverse forest and leads into the vast bogland
