Citymax Hotel Aswan

Hotel experience was fine here! Rooms were clean, but did smell slightly of cigarettes (not uncommon for Egypt).

Overall, a nice place to sleep and comfortable!

Such a wonderful stay! The rooms are up to a high standard, clean with breathtaking views.m. I would highly recommend this hotel. It’s located in an excellent location in Aswan within walking distance from the train station, Aswan market, the ferry port, the restaurants and is located on the Main Street of Aswan (Cornish). You can walk to the old cataract and the Nubian museum. Staff are really friendly and the pool is lovely after a hot day. It’s also on top a shopping centre with a supermarket and a food court. Amazing restaurants nearby for authentic Egyptian food. It’s an excellent value for money if you are on a budget and not staying in the most two expensive hotels (Cataract and Movenpick) then this is the third best option in Aswan, specially that most of the time in Aswan you will be exploring and visiting the temples. Do not hesitate to stay here !

I stayed three nights in city max hotel, Aswan. A nice place to relax and sleep well after your trips around Aswan. The room is clean, the access is easy and located beside the corniche. The view of Nile and sunset is amazing. ATM and all necessary facilities are near by.
My contact person in Aswan was Martina. She is working in city max.Very capable person, she arranged everything professionally with a good smile.

Martina arranged the pick-up from Aswan airport to hotel. My luggage didn’t arrive in Aswan from Cairo due to some issue at the transit.Martina notified the taxi to wait extra hours. When I got out the taxi was waiting outside.

I was notified the baggage would arrive only on next day. Martina arranged the pick-up of luggage from airport and dropped it in my room the next day. She took care of all the necessary procedures to get the luggage released from the airport as well.

The site seeing was planned and arranged by Martina. So I recommend this place for good n happy stay in Aswan.

Best view on the Nile River, facing the end wide view of Elephantine Island.
The view and road atmosphere beneath is so oriental, live and interesting.. The Hotel is large and so are the well equipped rooms. Staff is very friendly and services are good.
Rooms are aequately clean.
My stay was a benifit, I will do it again.

Very nice hotel. The customer service is excellent! My husband and I stayed there for four days and they treated us so well. Anytime we called for any type of service they came to our room so fast. Very clean and excellent room service. Amazing view and roof top food/hangout area. Fitness area could use some updating but I love how it's partially outside. Overall had a great experience!

2 days one night in with a room facing the great Nile.
It was really owsome.

Great place to stay during your stay in Aswan. Staff very friendly. Facilities great. Good gym. Breakfast is good but could be better if they supplied fresh fruit. Roof top pool and Elephantine Café & Restaurant is terrific. Great view of the Nile. Well located and highly recommended

The view is great.
Location is downtown and a couple of minute walk from anything you need. Train station and the ferry are a 10 minute walk each.
The souq Street is also 5 minutes walk.
Everything thing about it was great except for the breakfast it was OK not that much variety.

Great room with an amazing view. Very comfortable bed. Pool is small but on the rooftop with a view all around Aswan. Will definitely stay here again.

Great hotel with clean and modern rooms located in central Aswan. Has amazing views of the Nile and Tomb of the Nobles from the roof. Staff were friendly and breakfast was nice.

Water pumping in the room not staple from high pressure to no water every 30 second very hard specially water temp adjusting in shower

Good quality for price. Pool on the rooftop is small and cold but have a beautiful view ! Staff was helpful and really kind.
