In my view the best value for money in Bahariya Oasis. Prices are excellent . The fresh Mango juice was massive and by far the best I have ever tried (and I had many in Thailand , Egypt and south east Asia). There is a wide choice on menu with the only minus the lack of English translation on the menu. The waiters can assist though. The ambience is like a fast food restaurant but it operates as a proper restaurant. I have ordered the spaggheti seen on the photo ( something like an Ehyptian version of carbonara with lamb meat , which was delicious). The portion was enough for two people and it costed something like 2€ , but it came also with a number of starters (broad beans, tahini, fried aubergines , salad , pitta bread, olives and a lot more that I cannot remember and for which there was no charge)

The best grilled chicken I have had in Egypt! No joke. This place offers simple, basic dishes that are still very flavorful. The large chicken is first cooked in an open roastery and then grilled on charcoal to give it a finish so exquisite you will eat the meat and the skin. It is accompanied by a refreahing green salad and you can order a side of slightly spicy tahini. With a few loaves of Egyptian baladi bread, you have yourself a meal that will keep you full for many hours. Be sure to visit the Bakar store right next to the restaurant to get some oasis dates and olive oil.
