New Moon Island Beach Camp & Restaurant

New Moon Island is a lot more like a hotel than a regular Sinai camp. It has more facilities, different accommodation options suiting all budgets, great service, fantastic food (and big portions), a pool and a little waterfall, and they're even building a Yoga retreat. People are also so friendly, welcoming and generous.

One of the best places to stay in when in Nuweibaa.

The new moon island is in a very beautiful and wonderful spot, that's why I visited it for the 2nd time, I advise those interested in enjoying calm and communicating with nature, I strongly recommend this place for them.

Great place, very friendly staff, good food. Rooms are clean, spacious and well maintained. Writing this review after my second time here, won’t be the last.

Villa 64 which we stayed was very convenient but shared same wall with the camp's water pump so was noisy at times

This 3 star resort camp is amazing. The rooms we got had AC and bathrooms and showers as well. The place is well located and has an amazing beach with some coral reefs. The service is great and the people are super nice. Food is sababa and we are loving our time here (:!

My one and only destination in Nuweiba, can't really describe how this place make you feel, the combination of friendless with such view and diverse seating options is an experience that I wait for yearly in my travel list. I bring my little dog to this place for years and they have the most beautiful stray dogs that gracefully roams the camp and gives love to whoever asks.

It’s the perfect place to relax and have fun. Away from the crowd. The food is great and the people treat you really well. Accommodation is very well maintained with clean bathrooms as well. Just a wonder place to spend few days here.

Beautiful, loved it!
When I first knew I was heading to a camp what I had in mind was bad bedding, bad toilets and awful food
But then came new moon island, the room was clean and tidy, the toilet was clean and elegant and the food was delicious.
The beach is amazing and I had fun snorkeling here. The water is calm and clear.
The bungalows are quite fun to spend time with your friends at night and the dark sky is perfect for sky gazing.
Definitely coming back soon!

The owner is very nice and a fluent Hebrew speaker as well
The rooms are decent, and relatively close to the beach
The food is mediocre but it’s the same in most places in this area
There is a huge dining room with AC which is a huge bonus during the summer

The beach is well equipped with spots to hang by

The shower in the private room was not that great as water kept flowing outside, and please note that no towels were given
Most of the staff was friendly but some of them were not.

There are two place, new moon, and moon island the latter is more basic. New moon also offers room with private bath and small refrigerator. It has an air conditioned dining area and a breakfast buffet. In spite of that I would rank the service in Moon as better and friendlier. Entrance to the see is better in Moon.
What a wonderful place. We paid 580 Egyptian pounds per night for 2 people including excellent breakfast for an aircondtioned room. Excellent food great hospitality the place is very well maintained. Entrance to the see and to the coral reef is better through moon island very easy. Wonderful nature.

The place is organized and clean. The open buffet breakfast was really good and the dinner too.
Staff was professional and helpful, despite arriving there very early in the morning with no reservations.
Over all a great experience and would definitely go to New Moon Island whenever I'm in Ras Shitan or Nuweiba.

One of the best destinations in Egypt, if you are just seeking to reconnect to nature or chilling out with friends, the camp is literally amazing.

Its clean, perfect hospitality, great price and the most important thing is the positive vibes you can feel with all the people there.

You have all the options to choose from, hubs with or without AC, shared or private toilets, electricity is 24 hrs there, and Vodafone is the best network coverage at this spot.

I recommend it to anyone how wants just to do nothing except .. sea, music and reading!

I highly recommend this place.. it's very nice place to stay and chill.. It has a very beautiful beach. The staff is very professional and friendly. There are different options for accommodating, you can choose beautiful hut with fan or room with air condition. At night you can see beautiful and amazing colors on the mountains.

Great place with clean huts(without ac/with ac/ with ac and private bathroom) but rates are consider on the higher sides for camps in ras shetan. Breakfast is ok and dinner is meh. The camp is big and well planned so you won't feel it's crowded even it is.

The best camp in Ras Shetan.. All have great sea view, toilet is shared but clean.. Breakfast good but not Excellent.. Prices are normal to the place but you can bring some needs with you to save more money.. You can take lunch from other camps behind like moon island 1

Why new?
Because there are 2 places with similar names.

(The owner split his other partner that kept the old name “Moon Island Beach Camp”)

The places are physically extremely closed so people tend to mix the two.

I was reading today a review that was written by a guy who wrote it 5 hours before I read it.

The review is totally negative but not true!
In short in short it’s a fake review.

I asked the place owner Farage to introduce me with the guest who wrote the review.

Farage answered that he can’t because the gust stays in his neighbor’s camp Hahaha 😂😂😂

Be careful my friends.
Make sure you are reading a review on the correct place.

Mine, New Moon Island Beach Camp is fabulous, fantastic, amazing and stunning.

Food is superb they have 2 full time 👨‍🍳 👨‍🍳chefs,

Service is perfect 👌

infrastructure is almost as good as in my Tel Aviv ....
