The owner is wonderful people, super helpful and kind, like an old wise friend. He also showed us some Nubian stuff, good place to learn culture. The room was new, clean and comfortable with large beds and extra linens, lovely decorated. There's also a nice rooftop where you can see the river and movenpick light show a bit. Very chill place, highly recommended!

We had a very good time at the Roma House. The owner is so friendly and helpful. He even was able to pick us up at 3 a.m. after our train was delayed (he arranged a boat for us).

The rooms are very clean and the AC in the sleeping room is working - which is necessary, since it is so hot in Assuan.

We could leave our backpacks in the house after our stay and also were offered to take a shower in the owners own flat.

All in all great stay.

This little Nubian germ in the great location of the Elephantine Island. Khaled is a very friendly and helpful super host. Spotless rooms have good pressure showers and good WiFi connection. It’s so relaxing to chill in the terrace to watch sunrise/sunset.
We stayed for 3 nights and decided to extend our stay in Roma House, will definitely come back here when we are in Aswan.

Really nice furnished, clean apartment that feels homely with many appliances & good WiFi. Located in a peaceful location and also easily accessed by the local boat. The owner is very friendly and welcoming.

The motorboat is available till 12 midnight.
Mr. Khaled can help you in providing motorboat to visit nubian village and island of plants(300-400 LE) & Taxi to the high dam and philae Island 250-300LE).
Breakfast is simple but you can ask for another for extra fee.
Restaurant called "haty El harif" in aswan market beside the train station is the perfect place for meat and chicken. Also el chif Khalil in same market for sea food (not the ideal) another one other saide is good called (gambrika) you can try it. .
Beside the train station many coffee the best is the middle and beside it there is fol&falafel restaurant.
Don't try "gebana coffee" bad experience and expensive.
All over it was nice trip, you have to wear light clothes not heavy nor summer wears🤔
