We needed a cool drink and a bite to eat this afternoon before picking up shopping at Mercadona, Mojacar, so we popped in to Cafe Familiar for the first time ever. My husband wanted a tapas and a small beer and I was looking for a sweet treat. Honestly Ryan, our waiter was just the right amount of friendly and suggested Sticky Toffee pudding and I asked for a scoop of ice cream to take the edge off the sweetness. Honestly it was not just the best thing I have eaten in a long time but the best sticky toffee pudding EVER !
It was not brought in frozen from some big supply company but made with love at the restaurant by Ryan's mother 😍 FABULOUS

Indian Tapas is Great.
4 tapas dishes and we got some rice, chutney and thousand island dressing of sorts all for €10. Really fresh and tasty. The curry was nice and light, not like the heavy thick sauces we get back home. Great portion sizes and split this between 2. We'd deffo recommend tapas there. It's even so convenient for the supermarket.
