Super mountain range for hiking with plenty of options. Today, we did a 13km round trip which brought us via a trail to the Mirador de Catí - through the snow in the woods - over the Crestería down back through the gorge. Stunning views, fun hiking over the ridge, although not easy underfoot, and the barranco is only too beautiful.
You need to be hiking fit for this one.

There is a wonderful picnic area with many tables and benches, they are all placed in the shade from tall pinetrees.
The public restrooms were clean and in good shape, and I think they open at 9 am and close at 7 pm.
There are many parking spots, some even have space for campervans.

Great place for hiking! Watch out for grilling, it is only allowed during the weekend and there some restrictions on windy days (October).

Came here after 6 in the evening and officially it is closed then. However, it's basically just a picnic area, so open 24/7. There's a small snack shop (not open when we were there), DIY wood ovens (also closed due to drought), bathrooms and plenty of picnic tables. The tranquillity is amazing, you hear nothing but the birds here! There's a few walks around the area to explore a bit. Gorgeous place for a stop, and it's a beautiful ride just to get here, no matter from which side you arrive!

Beautiful mountain park area popular with walkers, hikers, cyclists and rock climbers just 30 minutes from the coast. Stunning scenary and many rest areas, car parks, ponds, refugios....... Good walking tracks.

The buildings are closed up but We have enjoyed a few nights camping up here and its just perfect. We will come back
