Restaurante La Fragua

The view is beautiful. The sensation of seating by the window when the sun sets over the mountain is precious. The staff is very sweet, we became friends with two lovely people. The food is good, it’s not to die for but it’s worth it for the rest of the experience. Some dishes are better than others, the stand-outs were the membrillo and the ice cream deserts.

Beautiful place to eat and relax. The owners and staff and really friendly and so helpful. Also really clean. And the best place to eat. The food is so rich and delicious.

A pleasant surprise to find the best restaurant during our trip to Andalusia in a small village at the foot of the Sierra Nevada. From the ambiance to the service and the food - everything was top notch. The cuisine is very classical but clearly stands out among all the other places we have tried in the bigger cities. In addition we were really happy to see that the menu also featured a lot of vegetarian options. Thank you so much for having us - I can definitely recommend coming here.

Stunning location at the top of Trevelez, and well decorated interior with incredible views. Waiter was very friendly and advised on options.

Carriladas with figs one of the best dishes I've ever eaten, and the fig ice cream was a little bit life changing to be honest.

Free tapa came with the drinks we ordered too.

Very high quality ingredients bought together to offer a great gastronomic experience at the top of this small charming Pueblo Blanco. Mountain meats, cooked long and slow, or over oak on the grill. Diverse and very special with super staff. Will look forward to a repeat visit on another trip to inland southern Spain.

After rain stopped play at 1800M with low viz a well worthwhile walk up the hill to La Fragua yielded a splendid lunch with a vista of what was and what could have been. Good times. Be cheeky with your porcine choice it’s delicious.

Simple just great and so far the best during the trip in Spain. Grilled meat was just done as should be with great taste. Service is polite and chef cooked the "dinner" even during his siesta. Prices are affordable. If you are in Trevelez, this is your choice.

An amazing restaurant to eat at if you are in the area. All the dishes were amazing. Helpings were large. Service quite friendly and fast. I do however recommend making a booking as it gets quite busy. Try some of the local dishes they offer. Will definitely revisit.

All of the food was amazing, but the their ham, cheeses and salad were spectacular.

Amazing food on a beautiful balcony. I am vegetarian and that can be difficult in Spain but a wonderful cheese plate with fig chutney and red wine. Absolutely would go back. Reasonable prices.

We had a nice lunch with a group of 8. The food was good and the view from the terrace we were sitting was very nice. Also the route to (and from) Trevélez was amazing.

Worth every penny! Had the la fragua salad, venison, iberian secret and fig ice cream for desert. All dishes were really good, served nicely and were decently big.
Anyway, we came again for lunch the day after so no more words needed

This place was a pleasant surprise. The staff was super professional and friendly in this family run place and the food was some of the best we tasted on our trip to Spain. Well prepared. Well presented and Enough but not too much. Remember to try their homemade desserts.

How can anyone rate this place less then 5 stars? It even deserves far more then 5 stars! Everything was absolutely perfect. The food, the service and the amazing view. Off course it is a little bit more expensive then other places because quality has its price, but for what you get I was surprise the bill was that low. Might be the best place in Andalucia where we ate.

Restaurant with amazing views from the terrace (up stairs), we had an excellent diner with good price !!! The waiter was very nice. We will return for sure !!! We recommend this place.

Visited for dinner. Great Spanish food, friendly and competent staff. Exceptional panoramic view of the valley from the upstairs, outdoor terrace. I recommend to make a reservation for one of the two tables on the upstairs terrace.
