Hostal La Fosca

Very pleased with my stay at Hostal La Fosca just steps away from the beautiful beach! I have received exactly what I paid for and was served by always smiling team, breakfast was fresh and delicious. Will not hesitate to stay at same hotel when back in Palamós.

Restaurant review: Quality-price relation of the food is excellent (they use their own organic produce). Very friendly and helpful staff. Ordered a paella to go and since it took 15min longer than expected, they invited me to a drink and a big amount of olives. What more can you ask for.

Lovely place to eat, right on the beach, really good quality food and a friendly welcoming atmosphere! Staff were lovely - sorry about the olive pips in the water glasses 🤣

This place is fab and seriously worth a visit if you can get a table and should be viewed as a fabulous (really outstanding eatery) with dead cheap n super basic affordable and good vfm

The venue is almost directly on the beach with a welcoming professional team that understand customer service and great food. Children welcome

Some of the snobby customers should learn its rude to stare but the wine list is so great maybe they were just trying to refocus to believe the price was so reasonable

Its just lovely. I found this hostal by accident and what a happy accident. The rooms are fine, clean and simple, but the location is simply divine and the resturant. Well I have since returned after my first stay, just for lunch. It is a real treat.

Wonderful place to have lunch when walking the Cami Ronda, the beautiful coastal route along the Costa Brava. They have a philosophy of being respectful to the environment. The atmosphere is friendly, the food delicious. We recommend the muscles (very pure) and paella.

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway.
Good food, very pleasant dining space and terrace.
Rooms are quite outdated but when you get to have the view, you forget rapidly about it!
We will go again for sure.

Superb location - right on the beach passeig.
Food is excellent and their own products (definitely buy some “B” olive oil) adds an extra dimension and freshness to everything.
We loved everything! (Of course the chocolate truffles were to die for!!)

We had a great dinner here tonight. Great food and a great localization just in front of the beach. The food was local and some dishes were organic as well. We had the white wine from Palamos with the dinner. An excellent wine. The waiters were pleasant and attentive. Thanks to Jose and the rest of the waiters for a pleasant evening. Will come again to this restaurant!

Had here a lunch and left very happy! Ordered some vegan variations from the menu - pumpkin soup and veggies. My bf had stuffed peppers with meat in tomato sauce which was a good choice and spaghetti with clams. Great choice of local wine, too. Service was excellent, all speak very good English.

I loved this very simple but nice place. The rooms are very basic and tiny. But the staff and the food is very good and value for money. I was with my husband,and our plan was to enjoy the beach, swim and walk in the numerous trails offered by that area of Costa Brava. Indeed I selected the Hostal for being on the view on the sea. But then we were surprised by a foody experience. Local products and slow food, Mediterranean cooking, offered at a very accessible costs. Lovely staff, always ready to inform you on the best option and extra "chupitos" (drinks).

My young son and I had a wonderful stay here. The manager could not have been any friendlier, and the food was always good. Very slow internet (2013) but the place was beautiful. We would return.

On the beach, literally. Super cheap. Free good buffet breakfast. Nice balcony. Basic room but clean and steps from beach. Excellent value

I had a nice coffee here. But go in and take a look 👀 ( really nice) it's got a lot going for it. Not a Hostel as we know it.

Seaview is amazing and multiligual waiter with dog paw tatoos makes our diners exeptional👍
