Discovered that place when passing by so we decided to stop for a dinner in there and we weren’t disappointed. Their set menu at €19 for starter, main, dessert and a glass of water/ wine tempted us to dine in there, but it was even more enjoyable to have a meal in their outdoor scenery in between the trees. I ordered salad of the day, entrecôte and abuela’s cake and wasn’t disappointment with either of those. My starter was soo filling and delicious that I honestly struggle to eat my main! Despite many mixed reviews I’ve seen for that place, I cannot go any lower than 5 stars as it was an absolute value for money.

A terrific find in Santillana Del Mar. Delicious food and drink with emphasis on local fresh products and ingredients. Service was friendly and accommodating of my limited Spanish. Outdoor dining was a delight.

Wonderful dinner! Probably the best I’ve had in Spain thus far. They had several good vegetarian options. The paella was to die for. The staff were also incredibly warm. The place itself is also beautiful- can’t recommend enough!!

Excellent service, very fine produce and recipes from the region. A plate of an assortment of jamones for starters, a fresh grilled fish (dorado) as main course, topped with an Arroz con leche. All very good in a pleasant surrounding. One tip for the owners: we didn't really appreciate the baby song singing and iPads playing infantile songs at the table next to us, it's a restaurant, not a kindergarten. After moving to another table we could eat the delicious meal in peace, though, so that's the most important...

Best of north Spain

Nos atendieron muy rápido, menú del día (23€) buena cantidad y de buena calidad.

Destacar lo tranquilos que estuvimos en la terraza y la amabilidad del personal, sin duda para repetir.

El cocido montañés no lo conocíamos y nos sorprendió para muy bien.

El cordero también estaba muy rico.

Un sitio donde disfrutar de buena comida, con un jardín decorado al detalle, platos contundentes y un servicio fantástico.
Volveremos.

Un patio muy acogedor, con amplias terrazas, aunque llovía y hacía fresco, estuvimos cómodos y a gusto. Está decorado con gusto, los muros de piedra le dan un toque especial y único, la atención fue muy amable. Los platos estaban muy bien presentados, el menú de noche todo un acierto, todo lo que pedimos estaba delicioso. Lo recomiendo.

Paramos a conocer Santillana del Mar y terminamos aquí de casualidad. Es un sitio precioso y acogedor. Disfrutamos de buena comida la sol en la terraza del jardín pero tienen otra cubierta. El servicio fue rapidísimo y la comida estaba estupenda. Varios primeros y segundos a elegir y postres caseros. El personal muy amable y el sitio muy bien decorado. Nos encantó! El menú entre semana costo 22€ por persona pero merece la pena.

Mi mujer y yo estuvimos comiendo muy a gusto, comida genial y buenisima, servicio genial y un lugar con mucho encanto, además lloviendo se crea un ambiente espectacular en el patio interior.
