By far the best meals we have had in santillana del mar.

We rated the food so highly that we always book the restaurant for our first and last nights in Spain due to its close proximity to Santander.

Another year on, and again, the food is spectacular. I would possibly say our favourite restaurant in Spain. Multiple Michelin stars? No. But the restaurant we want to eat in. Again, beautiful,

Great spot to have dinner. The place is very cozy, nicely decorated and the staff are very attentive. We tried the cheese plate, the tacos and the brownie. It's better to book in advance.

This place offers a daily menu for 17€ which is excellent. Ambient music is great and staff is very friendly. Book in advance since it is a small restaurant.

Top food. Top service. This is some of the best food I've eaten anywhere. And superb service. We ordered the daily menu, at 21€ per person it's not cheap, but it's worth every penny. Everything was of the highest quality and prepared exquisitely. Full points on flavour and balance. The service was also 5-stars. Sarita, our waitress took care of us expertly and made it feel like a top tier service without being stuffy.
Whatever it is they are doing in this place, they are doing it right.

The food here is outstanding, very fresh and delicious. They know exactly how to deal with Gluten free diets and still cook delicious food.

The staff were very patient with faltering Spanish & were happy to revert to English when necessary!

We ate lunch here last Sunday and it was excellent! The food was probably the best I've had in Spain. I ordered two starters - salad with nuts and goats' cheese for the starter and mushroom risotto, which I had as a main course. My girlfriend had fish for her main course and something nice for a starter - I'm not too sure what - I wasn't paying attention (typical bloke!)

She had wine - and fizzy water for me as the designated driver :-( The total price was very reasonable and the service was excellent - and they even put up with my pidgin Spanish, although their English was very good (certainly better than my Spanish!)

I'm not too sure how good the vegetarian selection is in the evening, which may be why there's a pretty poor review from Janet. They were very accommodating though and I'm sure they'll be able to rustle something up for us veggies. My advice would be to book in advance (because they get quite busy) and ask what's available for veggies at the same time.

Quality, homemade food in a really nice atmosphere. This restaurant is small and family owned but the food was on par with some of the best we had in Spain. Local and in season dishes win the day here- we really enjoyed the duck jamon salad.

Excellent experience. Great staff, perfect food and really tasty food. The only negative point was the table, not big enough for four people.
