Casa Rural El Soto De Zalea

E estado una semana me lo e pasado genial.la casa muy acogedora.y la piscina genial.gracias marina por estas vacaciones.

Un lugar maravilloso. Para todos. Pensamos regresar. Y el casero, Juan, un fenómeno.

The things that were negative for me, may not bother others.. so 4 stars. The host could not speak English but had an English speaking friend on standby and we had google translate. The parking is not on site for this particular property as advertised. However the street parking was not far. The house is situated in a quaint little village with few amenities but enough and the big supermarkets aren't far by car. The host was welcoming. The house is advertised for up to 16 people (Might have changed that now). We were 11 people of which 5 were children and we found staying here a very tight squeeze. Beds are crammed into rooms to make up numbers which left little to no room for luggage. The kitchen was big enough and had all necessities. However only one outlet for microwave, kettle, and toaster so had to keep swapping things around. Things missing from house were quickly provided and any mishaps we had were dealt with efficiently. The pool is small and not deep at all.. maybe good for little kids. The make shift play area was unfortunately very old and dangerous. One bathroom upstairs which did not have a lock and another was in the making outside in the yard. The fridge needs replacing as it was releasing a terrible odour. The hosts must have been aware of this as the leaking water was being caught by a container behind the fridge. The television isn't a smart tv. We discovered 2 gigantic cockroaches crawling across the living room floor on 2 separate evenings. Looked like they were coming from the fireplace perhaps.. but doesn't look like theres any kind of infestation. All in all we had a pleasant stay but would not return. It wasn't as much fun as hoped. House is 30 mins from malaga which was the reason for us staying here the last 4 nights of our holiday.
