Plaza de la Corredera

Incredible place! Many nice bars in good prices and many locals who spend time there. It’s loud but the atmosphere is awesome. You can feel as a real citizen of cordoba

Loved this square which we stumbled across. Full of locals. Had a bite to eat in one of the cafes which was average, but we loved the atmosphere and the buildings all around. Traditional food market is based here but was closing as we arrived here around 2pm.

Amazing square with a nice blend of locals and visitors. Fun and safe for kids to run around. Always something going on and plenty of restaurants to dine outdoor. Very beautiful with great vibes.

Wonderful plaza that is a short walk away from the mesquita, boggling in its size and beauty. The al fresco seafood restaurant here also looks to be a great place to relax on the plaza.

The most stunning mosque/cathedral on our trip worth the time money and effort, don't buy tickets on line scammers in operation buy then at venue.

Nice plaza where it seemed the locals hung out. Young kids were playing, families were sharing food and drinks together, the 20-somethings were enjoying fellowship and playing guitar. The food was good, the beers were good, the sunshine was good. It was a good day

It's a beautiful place that reflects the atmosphere of this gorgeous city. One of the shops has a wicker made decorations which is unique and good price.

Super lovely traditional Adalucian square with outdoor restaurant tables. Well priced traditional food. 3 courses 12.50 euro.

A really great plaza. On a beautiful sunny day this is a great place to hang out with food and a drink; a tad away from the other touristy places.

We just were lucky to pass by this plaza on our quick visit to Cordoba. Restaurants were not yet open but you can see it has amazing vibe, stunning architecture, great restaurants offers and a wonderful energy. Do visit it if you go to Cordoba.

"The Plaza de la Corredera is one of the most emblematic places in the Spanish city of Córdoba . It is the only quadrangular main square in Andalusia and is located in the historic neighborhood of La Axerquía . Despite the fact that the first evidence of an irregular plaza dates from the 14th century , the current plaza was built in 1683 by the architect Antonio Ramós Valdés by order of the corregidor Francisco Ronquillo Briceño . Its name comes from the bullfights that were held in this space, although auto-da-fe and executions of the Spanish Inquisition were also held."

Great place to visit! Very large square with shops, restaurants and bars. Got some excellent fresh fish in the morning one day and had great beers a couple of evenings during our week visit to Cordoba. Highly recommended!
