Spacious well equipped house in wonderful scenery with great views. Very relaxing location, quiet with fantastic outside eating areas and great pool. Sandie and Mike are great hosts giving useful advice but leaving us to enjoy the facilities. Kitchen was so well equipped even including an electric orange squeezer. Dishwasher and new washing machine. Great area to explore with great views and lots of walks.

We had a fantastic stay! Location is beautiful, a lot of nature, great views and still close to a town with restaurants and supermarkets (15 min walk). The pool, bbq and garden are perfect for the sunny days! Sandie and Mike are amazing hosts, communication was perfect and they are really helpful. There is a tv with internet access as well, WiFi is also great. Furthermore, it's a very nice area to cycle. We rented bikes in a town nearby for 6 days and really enjoyed the good road conditions, beautiful climbs and friendly car drivers. And how nice it is to have a beer at the pool after a great day in the saddle! Thank you again Sandie and Mike, hopefully we will meet again :)

We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful Casa Amarilla, which was in an excellent location to explore Orgiva and the Alpujarras. The house was clean, spacious and cosy and the pool and gardens were much nicer than they look in the pictures. The view from the roof terrace was truly spectacular, and we really miss sitting up there for breakfasts and sunset! Nothing was too much trouble for Sandie and her husband, who were perfect hosts (along with their friendly dogs who our toddler adored!). We would highly recommend this tranquil casa for families and friends/couples alike.

Sandie & Mike are fantastic hosts and offer a wealth of information on the surrounding area, villages to visit and places to eat. The property is simply stunning, clean, spacious and full of original features. The pool and outside areas are fantastic with plenty of options available and easily suits just 2 or a party of 6.

The location is perfect being on the edge of Orgiva with it's shops, restaurants and bars and only 20 minutes away from stunning hilltop villages or if you like a day at the beach 30-40 minutes is all it takes.

Highly recommended!

We have stayed before in a group of six but this time had the place to ourselves. We spent our days exploring the local white villages and enjoying the dramatic views of the mountains.
You can walk uphill to Orgiva but probably need a car to explore more towns and villages.
You can also get to Granada by car and explore the old town or visit the massive shopping centre.
Two twin bedrooms and one double, spacious but cosy lounge/diner with wood burner and well equipped kitchen.
Outside is a fab pool, covered dining area, Bbq and gardens. Also parking.
Also there is a big roof terrace with mountain views and dining area. The kitchen window opens up onto the roof area so my chef aka hubby could pass the drinks out.
Beautiful trees. I loved waking up to the garden view from the double bed.
Fully equipped with all you could need, pots pans, microwave, cooker, iron, hairdryer and even hair straighteners!
Price was really good and a bargain for a group.

Stayed at Casa Marilla during February, hosts were so friendly there if you needed and not if you didn't. The pictures do not do this villa justice. All three bedrooms are a good size in fact two are on the large size. They are furnished with beautiful large furniture so there is plenty of storage. The kitchen is a good size and we made use of the serving hatch out to the upstairs terrace. From this large terrace you look out onto uninterupted views of the mountains. The outside space is amazing with private use of the terrace, a good size garden with BBQ, gazebo and a surprisingly large pool for a private villa. This Villa and its location is a perfect site, for walkers, cyclists and Motorcycle touring.
Thank you
We will be back!

I went for a few days end of Feb with friends. My husband and I had the twin bed room. Lovely traditional style window shutters. Perfect for an afternoon siesta as provides complete blackout.

Good flexible accommodation, feels homey with beautiful artwork and homely touches throughout, much nicer than soulless hotel!

Kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed making fresh orange juice using fruit directly from the garden. Oh and the garden!

It is impossible to capture how wonderful it is on a photo. You are surrounded by the most beautiful plants, fruit trees flowers, and beyond views on the mountain ranges. It is just stunning.

The sun comes round onto the breakfast enter race in the morning so it is lovely to sit and eat outside and you can use the handy hatch through to the kitchen.

Should the weather not be good- although that would be unusual! The property also has a comfortable living room with snuggly sofas, tv dvds and books etc should you want a curl up and read moment.

Bathroom is spacious with a cracking shower.

Pool is large! Sadly I didn’t try it as was still a bit too cold! But enjoyed sitting on the loungers and in the stone gazebo beside the pool. Felt very spoilt!

Hosts were welcoming and helpful but not overbearing. They know the area well and were able to recommend plenty of nice places to go. Book it! You won’t regret it!

Convenient and private swimming pool with a spacious plot to put the stored sun beds down and lay in the shade or sun. Good sized bedrooms and a big enough outside balcony to sit on. Thoroughly enjoyed my time here.
