St. George's British International School

I have been involved with this school for many years now and although like any place of learning it is not perfect, it strives to be so. The teaching staff are, in general, extremely well prepared and competent and the administration staff excellent. I can not speak more highly of the management, who have proven themselves over the years to be trustworthy, caring professionals who "tell it like it is" to parents, this forthright approach can be misunderstood at times but with hindsight proves to be accurate.
Academically speaking It is a learning centre of the highest order.
Emphasis is not only placed on Academia, but also on discipline, moral conscience and good manners (something sadly lacking in today's society)

Our experience with this school is based on the admissions department and very specially with Monica. We are a Basque family living in California and will go back to Bilbao in few months. There has been no other school so kind, helpful and willing to welcome our kids instead of sending us just confusing mails full of bureaucracy with no real and personalised information. Thanks for being so kind without even knowing us personally!

El colegio tiene su política, llevo a mi hija desde el principio y estoy muy contenta, eso sí, el colegio es exigente en su nivel académico, y tiene que serlo, porque el mundo laboral es muy duro y exigente, y quien no lo entienda, allá el con su filosofía.

voy yendo desde hace 6 años a esta escuela de inglés y me parece exigente, a la vez que entretennida, no puedo decir nada malo de los profesores, porque los que me han tocado hasta ahora son muy majos (Nick, John, Rue...) por la parte de la exigencia, si que me parece bien, porque llegados a un nivel como el mio, que es el first, no es una tonteria

Excelente centro, el mejor del País Vasco. Gran nivel académico y profesorado nativo de calidad. Muy recomendable.
