PortAventura Hotel Colorado Creek

Very nice hotel (though I haven't been to other PortAventura hotels) . The double bed is a little too small but other then that everything else was great! Very nice decor. Location felt a little too far (compared to PortAventura hotel for example) . It's approx. a 15-20 min walk to enter the park from your room. Haven't used the hotel facilities (like pool) so can't comment about them. Overall a great hotel but since it's on a more expensive side compared to the other hotels in PoraAventura , not sure I'll book it again (at least not until I'll try a cheaper option and see the difference)

Not sure why this hotel got 4 stars, I believe it should have 5. Delicious dinner. Vast rooms. Authentic lobby. Close enough to the Port Aventura by foot. Best choice if you compare the price and the quality. The pool near the hotel is overcrowded by kids and not very deep (less than one meter).

Great theming throughout the hotel. The rooms are a good size with comfy beds. The hotel has a great aroma. Pool is a good size (and nice a warm) and is close to the pools at Gold River. Only thing is the dining buffet didn't have many vegan options. Other than that would 100% recommend staying. When you factor in the free park passes it's really good value for money

Nice 4 star hotel set in a Western "style". We had breakfast and dinner buffet every day of our stay and it was always top notch. Staff were also very kind and friendly. Rooms were spacious and Port Aventura was only 10 minutes away on foot past Gold River Hotel.

Tip: On the last day, we checked out but our Port Aventura passes remained valid all day so we didn't have to leave the resort but just checked out of the hotel.

We had an awesome stay at this hotel. Online check-in worked great. Staff at the reception was very helpful. The walk to the park was nicely through the other hotels. Restaurant had a great buffet, only you have a certain amount of time which they did not tell us before. The room was big and nicely themed. The room was located not in the main building, but the other building. It was quite and the lobby was wonderful. Will definitely visit again.

Colorado Creek is a new four star hotel within the Port Aventura resort in eastern Spain, and has an American National Park Lodge theme throughout. Very well appointed and very comfortable with large rooms featuring air conditioning, a small refrigerator and all the usual amenities and facilities. We had a room on the ground floor in the main accommodation block, whilst our daughter and grandchildren shared an almost identical room on the first floor of the same block. There is at least one other accommodation block located a short distance from the main block, and a separate restaurant/buffet building is located between these two accommodation blocks. A large swimming pool lies beyond the restaurant building. We arrived by car and were able to park reasonably close to the hotel main entrance. It is possible to drive almost to the front door for drop off and baggage loading/unloading. A concierge service will also use an electric buggy to help move baggage to/from your car. Check-in was fast, easy and efficient face-to-face, and self-service check-in is also available from machines in the lobby or online. The hotel is situated reasonably close to the theme park's hotel guest entrance (10 minute walk), but far enough away so that noise from the park is not intrusive. We had breakfast in the adjoining restaurant building and found it to be excellent, catering for all tastes and requirements. The size of the hotel demands three 'sittings' for breakfast - at 8:00, 9:00 and 10:00 am. Booking a breakfast 'slot' via the hotel website is a requirement. It is possible to just turn up for breakfast, but Hotel staff will check whether or not you have booked that particular sitting, and may ask you to return at a later time if that slot is oversubscribed. Breakfast is buffet style with an enormous variety of food and drinks both hot and cold. We also had the dinner buffet on one of our two nights at the hotel and found similar arrangements as for breakfast, with sittings at 7:30, 8:45 and 10:00 pm. Again, the choice, variety and quality of food was excellent. For the dinner buffet, table water is provided at no extra charge, but other drinks can be ordered from table attendants and will be added to your bill. We chose to reserve a table at a restaurant within the theme park on our second night, but regretted that decision and wished we had chosen the dinner buffet again. Dinner buffet food selections are varied night to night, so repetition is unlikely to be a discouragement during a short stay. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Colorado Creek and would not hesitate to return or recommend.

We have spent a wonderful family week end at this amazing hotel. Everything is taken care with the great level of service, rooms are very large and comfortable and food is of very good quality. Hotel is set around beautiful well maintained gardens and even if running high occupancy it never feels and there are lots of spaces to relax and awonderful swimming pool. We will definitely repeat !

Great new hotel. Very clean and very nicely finished with a lot of wood and classy finishes!! Rooms are big with 2 King size beds, and spacious bathrooms. We got a special deal with express passes. Probably the furthest to the park gate, but I don't see that as a problem. It's a very pleasant 10 minute walk. Brilliant staff!! Will choose this hotel next time we go!

Recently completed hotel in the Portaventura grounds. The breakfast and dinner buffet was much better than “expected” - tasty food for all tastes. Nice pool area. Wonderful large spaces for sitting together on sofas.

If there is one negative… it’s a decent walk to the entry to Portaventura… but you’ll be walking plenty around there anyway so not a big burden.

A fantastic hotel with a great staff, decoration, atmosphere and services. The only thing is that you should have more time to have breakfast.

1) When you book this hotel, a lot of money is saved, and that's why - you get free park entrance on every day of your stay including check in and check out day.
2) If you pay a bit extra for deluxe colorado you will get free fast pass for each extreme attraction in the park and it's totally worth it, because waiting lines are exhausting. Also fast ticket is costly.
3) If you pay for breakfast and dinner package you will not regret. The food is literally amazing and it's buffet and it's really excellent buffet. The food is delicious. Also you have a lot of choices including pure vegetarian.
4) room is amazing. The most clean hotel I visited. And I visited a lot of hotels.
5) Wild west interiors are perfectly reflecting those times. You literally dive in to the theme of the hotel.
Totally worse the money spent.
6) Personnel of hotel is super friendly. They will help you as much ad they can. They really care.
Best place ever!!! A lot of emotions.
A lot of buitfull memories.

Loved this place!!!!... It's beautifull, they did a very good job recreating the Colorado ambience. The staff was very welcoming, the breakfast was really good. It's the fartest hotel from the park I believe, but totally worth it. We definetly will come back.

Cons :
- took a while to get the room
- got locked in the bathroom because the locks are so old and hard to open
- Wifi is ok but could be better
- Pool in not very attractive looking

Beautiful new hotel and eating in the buffet as staying in Gold River Hotel. Good selection of food, free bottled water and nicely spaced out with plenty of room

Lovely stay. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast and coffee great. Clean and felt they took Covid risks seriously.

The hotel was really, really amazing. Clean, spacious, well-thought, climatic, with good food. One of the best!
