Parador de Tui

Excellent hotel, location is easy to access and good free parking. Classic Parador building, really unique. Staff also helpful, after midnight check-in hasn't been an issue and they speak good English which is helpful. Only 10 minute walk if you want to go into Tui centre.

Only negative is 18 euros per person for breakfast

Situated near the river, it offers a wonderful view of the hills in Portugal as well as the castle in Tui's center. It's a short but scenic walk to the Cathedral, as well restaurants/bars/cafes. The interior has a rustic yet distinguished feel, with a comfortable, homy lounge for guests. The service is attentive and courteous, the rooms are clean and spacious, and surrounding grounds are worth taking some time to explore, and take photos. As a Peregrino starting the Camino del Santiago de Compostela from Tui, this hotel is a highly recommended place from which to begin....

I've been visiting this Parador for years & although there are better ones I still give it an excellent rating for the high quality service from reception through to the waitresses & kitchen team. The bedrooms are good with nice bathroom. The food & wines are excellent & there's a decent breakfast too. The views of the hilltop city of Tui are beautiful too. In summer you can enjoy the outdoor pool & tennis courts.

Beautiful hotel in Spain overlooking the river. It's walking distance to the bridge to the fortress in Portugal. Clean rooms, attentive staff. The restaurant food is good and presented well, but servings are tiny and you may need more...the restaurants on Santa Maria Cathedral hill are better.

Top property right on the river, classy rooms. Yes. But Laundry service expensive 😔

The rooms are huge and well appointed. The bathroom is so spacious! Dinner was excellent. I enjoyed the veal steak, scallops and cheese selection.

One of the most memorable Paradores at the border of Portgal and Spain (Tui). The kathedral in the city center is a must see. Dinner in the Parador is great as is the morning breakfast (fresh orange juice included)

Kind and friendly staff. Beautiful gardens and building for a reasonable price.

Outstanding value for money, great wines and nibbles, superb customer service looking after vegetarians and gluten intolerant needs.

Beyond my expectation! It is one of the best paradores! Very peaceful, cozy, clean and super kind!

Service was perfect. The Parador is next to a beatiful village and rooms are very good.
