Finca Listonero

Favourite restaurant in the Mojacar/Turre area. The food is a cut above the usual fare, it seems a mixture of Spanish and British to me. The owners are charming and the service is excellent. The decor is stylish and the log fire is welcome on a cold night. It is slightly more expensive than a lot of places but well worth it. It is up in the mountains and the last bit of the drive is a rough road.
I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

An absolute gem, Ian and Sandra cannot do enough to make your stay perfect from the moment you arrive. You do need a car to get here, but you won't be disappointed!
The scenery is beautiful from a 360° angle there is always something to look at.
The shepherd passes by with his goats, they know exactly where they are going!!
The pool is just lovely to refresh in, while the weather is so hot especially July and August.
Breakfast is included, but the restaurant has a superb evening menu to suite all tastes and dietary requirements.
If you are looking for a quiet retreat in a stunning finca with amazing views, then this is a very very good choice.

We were here for lunch at the restaurant. The ambiance is very inviting and the service is exclusive. All dishes are homemade and very tasty. Real Spanish country kitchen at reasonable prices. We highly recommend this restaurant.

I have had the pleasure of staying at the Finca Listonero a few times now, normally a week at a time. Having always enjoyed my stay I thought it was time to post a review.

It is only a short drive from the sea and close to so many lovely Spanish villages and towns you can really see wonderful rural Spain. They provide such a relaxing stay, exceptionally helpful and the food is very great. It is sometimes too tempting to never leave and explore, but you must resist and see this wonderful part of Spain. However do indulge in cooked breakfast, sets you up nicely for a day of exploring.

I enjoy the unlimited walks surrounding the Finca, you can walk for miles in almost any direction but good walking shoes are a must.

The food is very high quality and I do choose to dine there at least several times when I stay, the menu is always different and seems to take influence from almost any country but with a Spanish twist. For example I love their chicken satay starter or the oh so Spanish sardines, for mains the pork secreto or the Spanish chicken casserole. I have even had the pleasure of fresh pizza cook in their outdoor oven.

Anyway highly recommend for dining or getaway.

Wow,Wow,wow...My Husband and I have just spent the weekend at this amazing place for our 2nd wedding anniversary;everything about this place is fabulous!!
We were greeted warmly by Sandra,the owner and shown to our room,in fact,we were able to pick between two rooms....we quickly unpacked,arranged with Sandra to have dinner at 7.30pm and spent the afternoon around the pool.
Nothing was too much trouble for Sandra,she brought us towels and drinks around the pool where we relaxed before dinner.
After showering and dressing for dinner in our lovely room,we were seated and brought a menu,I picked the figs stuffed with blue cheese and wrapped in Serano ham while my Husband had the deep fried camembert with recurrent jelly,both of which were very tasty,for our main we decided to share a "flank" steak,as we'd never had that cut of meat before we really didn't know what to expect and yet again,it didn't disappoint!There was more than enough for us both,served with vine roasted tomatoes,broccoli and fondant potatoes...Superb!!
We were full but I couldn't not try a dessert,I picked a gooey chocolate brownie cake with fruits of the forest,cream and ice cream,even my Husband enjoyed the "one" mouthful I allowed him.
After a very comfortable nights sleep,we went down for breakfast where Sandra looked after us so well,I enjoyed some yoghurt with fresh berries,percolated coffee and followed by an amazing English breakfast and finally toast with jam and marmalade...all in all,it was a fabulous experience,made very special by Sandra,if you are celebrating a special occasion,I would thoroughly recommend you go here,from start to finish,the whole experience was 10 out of 10 😁

Lovely place a short drive from town - our hosts were very friendly, breakfast was good, room comfortable.
