Super Turre

Well, what can you say - it was like stepping back in time. But in a GOOD way!! Super Turre supermarket on the main road - Av. de Almeria - through the town is a fabulous store which appeared to sell almost everything from groceries to plumbing and lots in between. In addition to a great range of food and drink there was also a big hardware section and much more. The Spanish staff were friendly and helpful. There was a surprising amount of familiar British items available too.

I would describe this as a very large & handy convenience store for Wines beers & spirits or fresh food and meat products if you live near turre.They carry alot of British brands and frozen foods too that are reasonably priced.Customer service has always been very good and helpful.

It's always an astonishing experience how much variety is packed into this one shop. Wide varieties of all products. I'm still amazed how they get it all in!

Very impressive. Great range of food and domestic goods and helpful staff. One helped me to find a particular type of turron. We bought most of our small gifts for friends here.

An independent supermarket that stocks a lot of stuff for northern Europeans as well as typical Spanish fare. Also has a fresh cheese and meat counter. Always well stocked, and good service. Sells all sorts of bits and bobs too.

Well stocked, local supermarket. Fresh fruit & Veg counter, Meat counter, Cheese and cold meats counter and fresh bread. Also household goods, cleaning products, large drinks section, English foodstuffs available as well as gas bottles and wood. Some prices at a premium for the convenience but always a bargain or three to be found

SuperTurre sells just about everything and at great prices. Fully stocked. Friendly staff.

Great supermarket with everything you need! Good selection of wines, international condiments (curries, spices, sauces). Fresh meat butcher and deli included.

Lots of English food, for example cheese, bacon and orange squash are amongst the products that they offer.

Went here with other couple. €100 shopping. People very helpful. All goods are generally costing less than back home. The Xx lager is a steal at €0.66 per bottle in pack of 6. Senora gave me present of red dried chilli that were hanging up. Parking is good, just turn into an empty space. I Def would go back. Forgot my phrase book. Always handy! Have fun.

Love this place. Great vegetable, meat, and Deli counters. Fantastic range of stock. Not just food but many other kitchen items and indeed others including bottled gas. (Repsol)

Medium sized town with, what felt like, a significant British community. They have a market on Friday mornings.

Large supermarket with a vast array of products. Always quite busy, and very popular with the British expats. Lots of UK sourced goods. Well worth a visit.

Lots of choice english foods available. Similar to Iceland branded UK names. Some more expensive than others. However if you want it you pay a little extra. Would recommend to all.

Great for herbs & spices, as well as cooking sauces and condiments not found in most Spanish supermarkets. Wine section is worth a look if you want a decent Albariño.
