Best views of the cote des basques, on a relaxed terrace, delicious finger food, cheese platter was amazing.

Can’t beat this location & the views! Was recommended by a local French friend, and we’re happy we went! We had to walk down this hillside path and Carlos was on the frontage road, directly overlooking the water. It’s an open air restaurant so the entire “wall” is open. All the indoor and outdoor seating looks out at the ocean where you can watch the waves and surfers. It wasn’t busy at all at 1pm on a Tuesday. Staff were okay, spoke enough English to communicate well. The food was also delectable - giant salads, tasty stuffed pasta shells, and a yummy steak frites. We also enjoyed Aperol Spritz and French Margarita cocktails. Would recommend and go back just for the views!

The best meat I ever had, so tender and juicy. The oysters were good too. The sunset view is fascinating. The staff a bit slow.

Their giant cookie and ice cream is awesome. Champagne wasn't bad either. Great view of the surfing action out front. Pretty trendy place to hang out.

Great place right at the sea. The Rooibos Ice Tea and the Tapas were fantastic. The view is hard to beat and the atmosphere relaxed. Can only recommend!

Sunset dinner in a cool atmosphere frequented by locals. Amazing views, excellent staff, nice vibe with a DJ playing music. Food was incredible. We ordered 3 entrees, 3 mains, and drinks. Quality is exceptional for the pri e. Salmon tataki, scallops, Blanc de l'Aquitaine slices of beef, grilled octopus, duck breast and fish ceviche. Wow! Unpretentious deliciousness 😋

Popular waterfront hangout, beautiful people, leisurely but very good service, amazing mojitos, superlative place to take in a sunset over the Bay of Biscay.

Every plate was delicious and original, good cocktails selection, and the view a must!

Visited Carlos for cocktails. Wait staff were so friendly and accommodating. Beautiful atmosphere overlooking the beach to watch the sunset. Had a pina colada and mohito, absolutely delicious!

Great find when visiting Biarritz. Located on the most beautiful beach, friendly staff, good drinks and relaxed atmosphere. We liked it so much we ended up going there twice in one day - for a glass of white wine during lunch and for cocktails in the evening. They also love dogs and allow them in and out so that's 👌

Stunning front sea view, friendly staff and interesting foods.

Much better since reopening. New management serves food all day and you can eat inside or outside. Côte des Basques is a very tidal location and many of the customers are surfers so you may eat at a different time on a different day.

Previous management had too many rules about what you can eat outside, what you can eat inside and strict kitchen hours.

This place is the best place by far, that we ate at in Biarritz.

The new chef is incredible, the staff are super super friendly and the food is ridiculously ridiculously good. We had a poke bowl here which was out of this world.

Think we will be eating here every day from now!!

The food was high quality , fresh and beautifully presented at a reasonable price for the area. I loved everything about this place under new ownership. I am an expatriated local. come with confidence. The view is priceless. the owner is friendly and service excellent. We need more places like this in Biarritz.

So happy that this place reopened! The best spot in Biarritz ! The owner and the staff are very welcoming at anytime.
Love the decor surf/californian/60s and delicious food for every appetite.
I highly recommend it especially for sunset cocktails and if you need a great place to stay Carlos is right next to the Carlina lodge with the best views on the ocean.
