This is a beautiful, clean beach. On Halloween 2023 the weather here is gorgeous, and the beach is nearly empty. This beach is very different from its French neighbor in Hendaye. It is very gentle making it a perfect beach for young kids and older folks. It's great for swimming. The beach is large enough to hold crowds during the summer; note that there are several highrise apartment buildings right across the street.

huge beach we went on the busiest day of the year , they had some kind of local rowing competition , the water was great , there were also lifeguards. great for swimming and sun bathing

Lovely beach, sheltered so calm water, no big waves. Plenty of parking and restaurants nearby, 10 min walk to town.

The restaurant was great , plus you're right on the port having lunch and in a short distance you can see the beach , a wonderful place.

This beach is clean and in a great location if you like swimming in the sea (because it is sea adjacent) there is plenty of space on the sand where you can lie down or stand (depending on your preference) and there is also a road nearby where you can leave your vehicle (parking) should you wish to not drive it into the sea (foolish). I rate this beach very highly indeed! (5)

Very clean wide spread of sand. Visited on a September afternoon. Peaceful and not crowded. At the time also being used by a local junior school class for outside lessons. Large car park (free at this time of year). Only let down was that public toilets were locked and unaccessable.

Amazing beach. Very big and very quiet.

We first saw this beach as we were landing in San Sebastian. To be standing on the walkway looking out over France to one side and Spain to the other is breathtaking. The water is crystal blue, and the amenities are excellent.

Protected from the waves, this beach is a real find. Plenty of fine, clean sand - sand castle building for the children and calm swimming for all. Congratulations to the local authorities for the upkeep.

Big and beautiful beach with a parking lot right next to it. The beach is plenty wide so finding a place to set up is no problem. Beautiful stone walkway going out to the ocean and awesome views of the coast. You can see Hendaye as it is the neighboring town.

Nice Beach, close to the ctiy. Good place to stay.
