Riad Cabrera (Fatima)

I would definitely recommend Riad Cabrera it was an amazing restaurant! The food and service were truly outstanding, and we had an unforgettable experience.

Life an oasis in a desert. This place was a delight, could easily have spent the entire afternoon there. The food was simply amazing. The chef (Fatima) and the Waiter ( Santiago) were incredibly and very friendly. The terrace was absolutely beautiful. I enjoyed every moment and would go back in a heartbeat 💓

One of the most terrific restaurants I’ve ever been to in my life. It has an absolutely beautiful terrace with a waterfall. The food is really magnificent. Lots of greatly spiced arabic options. Prices are fair, not a hold back whatsoever. I would recommend it to anyone.

We return to this restaurant every year for 5 years now. The staff is always friendly. Love the fountain and plants everywhere, it created a lovely atmosphere. Lovely just cooked bread ! Views are outstanding . Food is always tasty! I have tried multiple dishes there and I am never disappointed. Highly recommended!!

We had a gorgeous meal in this restaurant. We sat outside in beautiful surroundings and listened to the waterfall. The service was excellent with very attentive waiters. We both had prawn starters which were superb and we had the lamb and goat leg for mains. Both meats were cooked really well, we are definitely returning as the menu was extensive and there are lots of other meals I would like to try. Booking is essential as this restaurant is busy. Another bonus is the beautiful drive up the Cabrera mountains to get to the Riad.

Riad Cabrera (Fatima) is just about the best restaurant experience we have had in our 2 ½ years living in Almería.
The restaurant resides at the roadside, set into the mountainside high up in the Sierra Cabrera and the setting is stunning. Set within a walled courtyard garden, complete with waterfall feature, palms and flowering shrubs, with views out across and along 2 valleys.
Staff were very kind, helpful, friendly and attentive, clean and smartly dressed and English speaking amongst other languages.
The food is out of this world, Moroccan styled with the occasional Andalusian twist. Portions are just the right size to suit all manner of pallet, larger or smaller appetites and we have never tasted better, anywhere.
For inside dining, the place is beautifully appointed and looks almost as if the tables and chairs are dressed for a wedding reception.
We have already booked a return visit for 26th December, as we dealt it to be a perfect place to dine out on Boxing day.
However, that is not to say that we won't sneak back for another visit before that.
(My wife always judges restaurant cleanliness by that of the toilets and the were spotless, so has her top approval).
Riad Cabrera (Fatima) is now our favourite restaurant anywhere and will take a truck load of beating.
(My Daughter and Son-in-Law visited with us whilst on holiday here and both also said it was the best meal/restaurant they had ever had the privilege of (it should be noted that, they only eat Halal meat and although predominantly Moroccan, the meat is not Halal but, there are plenty of fish or vegetarian options and this did not spoil their experience)).
No small praise from us, they deserve a round of applause and very worthy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+++++.

This is without question the most exquisite Moroccan restaurant you will ever likely encounter. The location has the most wonderful views from the mountains & the owner Fatima is a wonderfully warm and beautiful person. Cannot recommend highly enough👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Absolutely stunning views from this restaurant up in the mountains of Sierra Cabrerra. Food quality is excellent, not cheap but worth every penny. You have to book in advance as they are always fully booked in Summer months. The Sunset from up in Sierra Cabrerra is fantastic.
