Hotel Eigón

This was a really special experience. Posada de Valdeon is a wonderful place with amazing scenery. But what elevated our staying in this beautiful nature into another level are the owners of Hotel Eigon. They created an exceptionally pleasant atmosphere in the whole facility. It is a place where you can relax and enjoy top quality stay. I appreciate the work of these people very much and wish them many great guests and all the best.

Fantastic small hotel in Posada de Valdeon. Beautifully designed/decorated and comfortable and relaxing. Fabulous breakfast and lovely garden. Worth the effort to get there. Great walks from the hotel.

Luis is a very tall and friendly host, he would be your single point of contact for all things including serving you breakfast, dinner or cocktails

Locations fantastic for the Picos, and the views from our room was awe inspiring. The hotel itself is thoughtful, well laid out, great decor and great little attentions to detail, e.g. the tea station. The homemade breakfast was a highlight (especially the homemade plum and lavender jam, fresh tomatoes and freshly made smoothie). Hosts were delightful and very helpful. Overall it felt like a hidden gem and would definitely recommend. A great start to our adventures across Europe!

Absolutely fantastic stay! Eigon has the best view from their garden. Having a glass of local wine after a long hike was such a bliss. Not to mention the delicious dinner and breakfast! The room is also very immaculately clean with good bedding and pillows. We really enjoyed our stay.

A true gem in the mountains! This Bed & Breakfast has it all. The hosts Luiz and Fanny are always there for you but give you all the privacy you need. They cook fantastic food with only seasonal and homegrown/homemade ingredients. There is a great tea selection. They furnished everything with great taste and so much love to the detail.
Everything in the rooms is high quality material: The best beds I ever slept in and the best shower I ever showered in. You just feel welcome and comfy and relaxed all the time.
The owners really put their great hearts and their aesthetic minds into everything. Modern yet classy.
I wish there was an Eigón everywhere I travel!

Such a gem of a hotel in the middle of Picos de Europa mountains. Great stay. Cute rooms, great breakfast, great location, and the sweetest hosts. You wake up to the sounds of the river in the morning. An amazing place to get away in the mountains!

Best hotel ever!!

It has an amazing view of the moutains, it has a river just by the garden and the decoration is super cosy. I stayed there for two nights and was super relaxing. We had dinner at the bar and the food was awesome. They know what they are doing there!!!

An exceptional hotel, run by an exceptional couple, very helpful and pleasant. A new hotel with everything done right, but still has a rural feel to it. Wonderful location and views, superb breakfast and lovely rooms. All in all one of the best hotel stays I've experienced.

We stayed here a while ago when driving through Spain . The hosts are charming and the building and garden delightful . Really wonderful relaxing place to stay to have hikes in the Picos .

Attention to detail, the owners are really nice, committed, modest, kind and helpful. The ground floor is a lovely space decorated like a cozy living room, with a bar, a tea corner and board games.

This is a lovely place that I would highly recommend. The owners are very kind and humble. They try very hard to give you a unique experience and I am sure that they succeed every time! Do not forget tot ask for breakfast, you will not be disappointed!

El Hotel Eigon se encuentra en Posada de Valdeón, el corazón de los Picos de Europa, a poca distancia de Cain desde donde iniciamos la espectacular Ruta del Cares, además de otras excursiones cercanas que te puede aconsejar Luis.
Cuenta con pocas habitaciones, con una cuidada decoración rustica acorde con el entorno, sin televisión en ninguna zona, un espacio tranquilo en el que relajarse con la lectura de los libros repartidos por el salón, saboreando una deliciosa infusión natural, en un confortable ambiente, o bien en el amplio jardín recreándose con la vista de los Picos de Europa y el murmullo del rio que fluye junto a él.
El desayuno es la mejor forma de empezar el día, variedad de productos frescos y de proximidad, elaborados artesanalmente, son una verdadera delicia, al igual que la carta de picoteo que ofrecen para la cena.
Disfrutamos de una estancia encantadora, tanto por la comodidad de las instalaciones, escenario que le rodea y la amabilidad de Luis, el cual es una persona discreta y muy amable, siempre dispuesto a favorecer un bonito recuerdo del paso por estas tierras.

Probablemente el mejor hotel en el que nos hayamos hospedado nunca. Relación calidad, precio, trato, desayunos y comida, situación, infusiones, relax, música, limpieza, jardín precioso... sobresaliente, es difícil encontrarle un pero.

Ein kleines schönes Hotel in den Bergen. Ideal für Paare die Ruhe suchen, gerne Wandern und eine liebevoll gestaltete Einrichtung schätzen.

Das war wahrscheinlich das beste Hotel in den wir je waren. So liebevoll, natürlich und doch modern eingerichtet. Frühstück und Abendessen sind absolut empfehlenswert, frisch, klar, sehr natürlich, liebevoll dekoriert und sehr schmackhaft.

Sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeber und das absolute Highlight, die Aussicht auf die Berge aus dem wunderbaren Garten hinterm Haus!

Das einzige Problem: wir hatten dummerweise nur drei Nächte gebucht!

Wer auf Spa und Pool verzichten kann findet hier natürlichen Luxus pur zu unserer Meinung nach (zu) niedrigen Preisen!

Wir kommen zurück, sobald wir wieder in Nordspanien sind!

El sitio es espectacular, bien situado, limpisimo y muy acogedor, es como estar en tu propia casa. Esta decorado con mucho mimo y tienen un jardin increible. Tienen juegos de mesa, un rincon de tés disponibles siempre y la cama nos pareció comodísima. Nos gustaria haber tenido mas tiempo para disfrutarlo más. El desayuno riquisimo y el entorno sobra decir que es impresionante. Fani y Luis son majísimos y dispuestos a ayudar en todo. Volveremos y se lo recomendariamos a todo el mundo.
