Hotel La Casueña

This place was absolutely wonderful! The owners were very nice, and gave us a warm welcome even though we arrived late. The room was really spacious, clean, uniquely decorated and had a great view of the lake. The made a very elaborate breakfast, with local products and homemade cake (we even got the recipe!). The dinner was also very delicious and they served wonderful local wines. This has been one of the best places we have stayed in, in the Pyrenees and we would recommend this to everyone!!

Next to the hotel itself being great, the owners were the icing on the cake. Very kind people, put a lot of effort into explaining things in English, had great recommendations for hikes in the area and were great cooks! 5++ stars

An amazing place to stay. Beautiful rooms and great food. The breakfasts are delicious and large portions. Don’t forget to book dinner. The couple who run the hotel are lovely.

Just a wonderful stay. From the start we received a WhatsApp message asking if we would like dinner when we arrive from our drive from Barcelona. Dinner was amazing!

The rooms were large, bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows. They actually had a fan which was great.
The shower - tons of water pressure and plenty of hot water.

The included breakfast was excellent as well as the dinners. Marian is a talented chef.

We walked from Lanuza to Sallent de Gállego for dinner one night. Very easy walk and fun town with lots of dinning options.

This was the perfect spot to relax and explore the mountains. Marian gave great recommendations on what hikes to prioritize with our limited time there (3 nights). If we could have done anything different we would’ve stayed for a least 5 nights or more.

Had a wonderful stay at La Casuena. Marian and Miguel were so lovely and accommodating, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived to when we left.
The location is perfect, with the Lanuza Reservoir right on your doorstep. A short drive away is Sallent De Gallego, which hosted the Pyrenees Sur festival during July.
Marian gave us recommendations for hikes and things to do in the area, and provided a delicious breakfast every morning. Was such a lovely respite in the Pyrenees. Stayed only two nights but would have loved to stay longer!

Hotel La Casueña is more than a hotel, it’s an experience. Marian and Miguel were extremely kind, attentive and made us feel very welcome. The location is unparalleled and is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed.

The room (Garcia Marquez) was very spacious, impeccably clean and comfortable and included wonderful views overlooking the lake and mountains.

We reserved dinner in the hotel for our last night and it was the best meal we had during our 2 week Pyrenees trip through France and Spain. There were very delicious and abundant options for vegetarians as well as unique local dishes. My fiancé enjoyed the Pyrenean trout tartare which was elevated with an amazing ajo blanco ice cream.

Overall 5/5 stars - we would love to be able to return again!

Perfect location for relaxing and hiking. Delicious breakfast. Don 't forget to book diner because the menu is great!

We loved everything about our stay. The location is stunning, the hotel is beautifully decorated, the hosts are passionate and kind and the food is absolutely amazing. The experience was a wonderful combination between luxury, excellent service and a home away from home type feeling.

We came to the valley to hike in the nearby mountains and chose to stay at La Casueña and we loved everything about it. Superb hospitality, perfect location, amazing food and beautiful rooms. I can highly recommend this hotel!

We loved our stay at La Casuena! Fabulous setting in the most beautiful environment, friendly hotel with great food, other residents very friendly as well because of the communal atmosphere, great food, and most especially really wonderful hosts Marian and Miguel who made it a great stay.

Stayed here in October 2019. One of the most amazing locations we've ever been to. Super accommodating couple runs this hotel and we will come back here once allowed with COVID.

Maravilloso!! Fuimos con nuestro perrito y él fue el que mejor lo pasó sin duda! Fueron muy amables con él. Nos hospedamos en la suite Junior y era genial, muy amplia y con unas vistas muy bonitas! Cenamos en su restaurante y tomamos el Tartar de Trucha y el Solomillo y estaban espectaculares, los vinos muy bien elegidos y la tarta de queso muy sabrosa! Dimos un paseo por el pueblo y es acogedor y nos pudimos relajar frente al embalse. Esperamos poder repetir algún día!

Sitio de 10. Hemos estado dos días con nuestro perrete, y nos hubiesemos quedado todas las vacaciones, pero íbamos de ruta. Los dueños, Miguel y Marian, son un encanto, cuidan todo detalle, incluso con nuestro pequeño peludo. Ella es magnífica en la cocina, todos los platos que probamos de diez, y el desayuno de por las mañanas increíble. Se nota que hacen las cosas con mucho amor y dedicación! Volveremos seguro!!!y Sanson tambien . Muchas gracias por esta experiencia!

La Casueña es uno de esos lugares a los que vas de vacaciones una vez , y sin haberte ido ya sabes que vas a volver. Un lugar con un encanto especial, donde descansar y relajarte, comer de fábula, leer un buen libro al lado de la chimenea o dejarte maravillar por el espectacular paraje en el que se encuentra. Todo esto, sumado al corazón y mimo que le ponen Miguel y Marian, hace que la experiencia sea digna de cinco estrellas. La decoración del hotel es una maravilla. La habitación en la que me alojé me encantó, tanto el detalle de la bañera para darse un baño relajante después de un largo día, como la comodidad de la cama. Recomiendo muchísimo a quienes se alojen allí que reserven a parte del desayuno que es espectacular, las cenas, pues Marian cocina como los ángeles. Tienen una sorprendente oferta para todos los gustos, todo riquísimo. Por otro lado agradecer también la atención de Miguel, siempre dispuesto a recomendarnos lugares que podíamos visitar durante nuestra estancia. Una experiencia de diez! Nos vemos pronto!

Un hotel encantador en medio de un excepcional lugar lleno de tranquilidad. Los anfitriones son muy simpáticos y amables te hacen sentir como en casa. Las habitaciones son cómodas y los desayunos muy completos. Un lugar para disfrutar de la naturaleza, del paisaje y de muchas actividades que ofrecen.

Lo primero agradecer a Miguel y Marian su atención, nos han hecho sentir como en casa, El hotel está cuidado con mucho mimo, las habitaciones limpias y cuidando el más mínimo detalle , y que decir de los desayunos y cenas que nos preparan y sirven con tanto cariño. HOTELAZO a todos los niveles. Entorno de ensueño, habitación silenciosa, colchón muy cómodo, varias almohadas para escoger, amenities muy completas y sobre todo, un nivel altísimo en las cocina. Marián y Miguel cocinan de maravilla y sirven unas cenas de relación-calidad precio imbatible en un comedor acogedor y tranquilo. Pastel de queso delicioso en el postre. Los desayunos, además, están al nivel de casi un 5 estrellas!! Qué torta de aceite casera más rica sirven!
