A great place to stay, not least because the hosts are fluent in multiple languages. They serve beer in many sizes including a German maßkrug! The pilgrim dinner included in the room rate is worth it, and one of the dessert options was homemade rosemary schnapps!

Honestly, this place has great people running it with peaceful and kind vibes reverberating. We had a great dinner that was a good change-up from normal pilgrim food. We had a private room. So no comment on the shared room. Breakfast included real espresso coffee, an oj and a tostada with some options and we were thankful that they start serving at 6:30, made to order.

Lovely stay. Welcoming atmosphere and hosts. Fantastic community dinner. Majestic views of the mountains from the back terrace area.
Very clean! The rooms are a little cramped with space, but the beds are comfortable.

This is a very special Albergue. The rooms and facilities are good but The Hospitality and Atmosphere are just wonderful. The hostess Lena is such a beautiful person who sings and plays accordion and tin whistle while inviting the guests to sing a song from their own country/ culture.
Excellent healthy meal on offer as well and all very reasonably priced.

Wonderful hosts, good food, with vegan/ vega options. Comfortable beds with real sheets. For a really good price. The owner sang with all the pelgrims after dinner and it was lovely!

One of my favorite albergues I've stayed at. Responsive owners on WhatsApp to make a reservation. Easy check in. Beds come with sheets already on them. Good number of showers with hot water. Hand washing and machine washing available. Excellent dinner. Not much more you can ask for.

Just when I needed a break after a big ascent, there was Monte Irago. They are so kind here, everything is clean, there’s even a connected bar with lots of food and snack options. Highly recommend this place for all the right reasons!

Amazing meal and a fantastic night of singing with the wonderful hostess! Spent a good two hours singing and it was a beautiful way to recharge after a day of walking on the Camino.

Albergue or not, this is one of the best experiences I've ever had staying anywhere. Wonderful people, perfect atmosphere, clean, and a good price. All albergue should aspire to be like this

One of my favorite stops on the Camino. Friendly atmosphere, I was treated like a long lost family member. After a long walk, the beer was cold, the food was tasty and the hosts were attentive and charming. I was invited to practice yoga in the back which I thoroughly enjoyed. I stayed in the attic shared with others, that was as expected. Not luxurious up there but perfectly comfortable. A very pleasant surprise finding this place.

I had a fantastic experience at Albergue Monte Irago. The atmosphere is truly wonderful, and the staff running the place are incredibly friendly and always have a smile on their faces. One of the standout features is their multilingual proficiency, with the ability to communicate in English, German, French, and, of course, Spanish.

The value for money is exceptional, with a bed and dinner package priced at just €22. If you're concerned about going to bed hungry after dinner, rest assured, you'll be pleasantly surprised. The portions are generous, and I left the table feeling completely satisfied. This albergue is a gem for anyone traveling through the area, and I highly recommend it for a warm and fulfilling experience on your journey.

Nice place to stay. The German lady with the accordeon knows a lot of songs from different countries. Nice international evening.

Maybe my favorite albergue on the Camino de Santiago (I had experienced 33). Located in a stunning landscape, very cozy, fabulous kitchen and warm hospitality. As a music lover I also have to mention that they have a great taste of music playing there. Highly recommended!

The staff here are amazing, and the food is some of the best I’ve had on the Camino Frances. I didn’t have reservations and intended only to have lunch here, but after having a delicious salad (with vegetables from their garden!) and quiche, my friend and I decided we should stay overnight. (She had the chicken curry, which was surprisingly light and very good). We had great conversations over a wonderful dinner and the owner, Lena, made us feel so welcome. I’ve been on the camino for three weeks and this is my best experience yet. Everyone here was so kind and warm, but it’s worth it to stay just for the included dinner. They provide delicious, healthy food, which is such a nice change from the usual fried foods and ham that is served everywhere else on the camino. We stayed in the private room with shared bathroom, which is just a few euros more than the shared dorm.

This is the best meal I’ve ever had in the camino way! There was a problem on the reservation, but the host was very kind and she managed to get the beds for us. I loved the song, too! Thank you so much ;) It was a pleasure staying here

The hostess Lena's love of music made this experience so special for my wife and I. The atmosphere was so special as people from all parts of the world sang together at different times before, during and after dinner. We are so glad we stayed here! The alburge dorm room was great as well. It was very clean and the staff was wonderful! Dinner was very tasty and filling and dessert choices were perfect for this wonderful alburge. A true gem of the Camino and highly recommended!
