Fish is fresh and good priced , fast service and views of the beach and river views complete the experience.
Crowded in weekends, call or be there early.

Fantastic food, amazing burger options and Gambas pil pil was our choice today, followed by two amazing deserts. Views over the river estuary across to Algacieres.

Great place to chill and watch the sunset. The food is great the fish is fresh and the dessert were homemade. It was ok but slowly, slowly it was nearly full, i can’t imagine in summer it will be packed from the early hours. Better make reservation, we arrived early and it was ok. Service is great very kind and helpful.

Wonderful local Chiringuito, warm welcome and great help with translating the Menu. VERY reasonably priced for freshly made food. Can't wait to return to try out some of the Blackboard Specials. Not visited Playa Palmones before, and El Garito topped off a lovely afternoon. Thank you.

Great chiringuito located on gorgeous white sandy beach. Great service, good food and fabulous selection of homemade cakes. A hidden gem worth seeking!

This chiringuito is a great place to stop if in the area. Good service, good food with picturesque views of the Rock of Gibraltar and the Bay Area

What a great little restaurant we stumbled across. Great traditional Spanish food, lovely location and great service. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely be back.

Lovely restaurant, close to Holiday Inn Express
Taxi drivers are lovely and helpful.
The restaurant staff happily called us a return taxi.
Food was delicious and well priced. It's right on the beach and as the sun goes down and the tide comes in, its FAB, to watch the see come in.
The view is industrial - refineries etc. Get past that and it's lovely sand and fab views from the restaurant terrace.

Fabulous place, excited food.

Delicious food and great service!

Food is great and at acceptable prices.
You can get a decent meal and a drink for as much as 15 €.
The interior decoration is like in every restaurant of this type (beach restaurant) and what's most important, staff is friendly and pleasant. Great choice of main courses and desserts. Definitely, would recommend.

Authentic location on the beach with decent dishes.
This posh-free ambience is a relaxing relief on the Costa del Sol.
Great fish and seafood to be eaten barefeet in the sand. Easy!

Amazing view excellent service and amazing food at a good price

Planned to go to La Ragua, but put off by the long queue, so tried El Garito instead. Lovely sunny day, but very windy, so sat in the conservatory part. Menu extensive and prices fair (see photos). Shared a media of puntillitas and a racion of chocos a la plancha with a tomato salad which was a perfect amount for lunch. Puntillitas can be overly greasy, but these were not. Will definitely return, hopefully when we can sit outside, but if not, inside is light and airy.

Love Palmones. Great tapas. Great views. Go for it. Little off the beaten track but worth it if you like good, basic and reaonable.

Nice place on the beach, very spanish, look one way and it's a very natural setting, sea sun sand, look the other and huge ships waiting to load and unload.

Great location, and lovely food. Sardines, avocado and tomato salad to die for!
