Massís de Cadiretes

Beautiful beaches just a short drive away from Barcelona. Cristal clear waters, breathtaking views, great hiking trails, cliff diving. Definitely worth the drive to see this part of Cataluña when in Barcelona.

Great place he explore. Brilliant views from the top. Gallery and museum is worth a look in the grounds of the castle. Eat away from the castle set meals are nearly half the price.

Stunning scenery on this coastal path between Tossa dear Mar and Cala Pola beach. A little bit precarious in places so I wouldn't recommend it for small children, but a beautiful, strenuous walk.

Great mountain range lots of good trails to walk round for the more experience hiker some big inclines and technical trail walks with some amazing views. There is some signpost but definitely worth talking a GPS system of some sort.

We drove on the super beautiful road and stopped on many of the places dedicated for that. Very reccomended! Drive from south west to north east so you will be near the cliffs. Start at Tossa de mar

This trail from Camping Cala Llevado to Tossa de Mar has some really nice views over the Mediterranean Sea. The part of the trail close to Tossa is in good condition and has a few of these nice viewpoints.

The Massis de las Cadiretes in Catalonia, between Tossa de Mar and San Felíu de Guixols is an excellent natural and protected area, ideal for relax and vacations along the year. For short weekend escapades or summer vacations is a nice place. During summer most of the cities on the shore are very busy, but you can rent a place up into the hill and your days will be easy and quiet. The views of the hills going into the sea are excellent and the roads by car, or treks around the cliffs are a must. Also the country side offers a lot of country roads and treks to explore.

To enjoy during summer and winter, and ideally in the Autumn and Spring. The cultural offer is ample: with history, and several museums standing up Dalí House-Museum in Cadaqués. Near Girona and Barcelona also there are your options to do city tours.

To arrive you can land or arrive by train both in Girona and Barcelona, rent a car, or take public transports. A suburban train from Barcelona will take you to Blanes and from there you can hop into inter city buses. If you arrive to Girona also you have the option to take interurban buses.

Of course renting a car is another option!

Lovely scenic spot - I got here via the GR92 coastal trail, I suggest it to anyone!

Hiking through the rocks then a dip in the sea in a secluded lagoon. Its a bit scary at times but worth it
