Very good! We hesitated after seeing the feedback from other guests, but it was overall a very nice experience, and the food was great. The staff is very nice, except for the boss, who seemed grumpy. However, all the other waitresses made the place enjoyable. Cheers to them! You should consider hiring more staff so the other waiters don't have to run marathons around the tables.

Fantastic place to rest your feet and have a cold drink, after walking around the grounds of the Palace. I particularly love the fact that even given its location, they don't overcharge and offer fantastic service, we ordered a Beer and a Wine, and were surprised to also receive two dishes of Tapas (which were very tasty and very welcome), and to find that they were for free! Its a credit to its owners that they stick to such fantastic levels of service when so many would have exploited their position.

Knackered after Alhambra? A super quick cold beer & free tapa here was everything I could have wanted (reader: I had two beers it was so delightful)(actually - three).

Great location next to the entrance of Alahambra palace.
Food is okey, free tapas with a drink , just average taste.

Fresh, hot, fast and great service. Can’t beat the location and our server and the chef were so attentive we felt very special. Halal chicken also an amazing option for many visitors to Al Hambra thank you! Abdul the chef even attended our table to ask questions and provide advice. It was all delicious.

Good times will be had by all whom stop by before of after seeing the breathtaking Alhambra. Free homemade tapas with every drink and a fine workforce 🍻 🥘

Wonderful, attentive host and waiter, delicious food, and lovely outside dining—I highly recommend the cabra, sopa andalusí, and the leche frita. A perfect way to end a day of marvels in the Alhambra!

Didn't read the reviews until looking to leave one myself.
Wow - don't know what kind of service some people are used to, maybe spoon fed whilst having people waft big palm leaves at them to cool down, all whilst paying pennies for 5 course banquet.
We sat down, waited a few minutes for a waiter, who was very professional and appreciated the attempts at bad Spanish pronunciation.
Drinks were brought swiftly, with the traditional free tapas for the region - which was delicious.

Our waiter took our booking request, no hassle, friendly people - don't believe all the negativity from clearly some very entitled people.

We called in after the Alhambra. Cold beer and wine, offered tapas but said no not realising it was free after being stung in Malaga. Great friendly service thank you!

Really good retaurant and even better after having spent three hours exploring the Alhambra. The food and service was great. Would highly recommend.

One of the best vegetarian menues I ever had! Pumpkin soup as starter, Nasrid rize with Lots of veggies as main course. Chocolate cake as dessert and a coffee. Everything tasted more than just delicious. Paid ~ 40 Euro including fresh orange juice for two persons. We left fed and happy!!!

A lot of 1 star reviews will say this place has bad service but that is far from the truth. The waiters are getting their job done and getting it done well. The food is amazing. I had a pork fillet cooked to perfection.

Staff were very friendly and hospitable. We were seated in the restaurant quickly. The menu choices are good, and the vegetarian option was very tasty (it's a rareity that vegetarian options exist on Spanish menus usually!). The prices were reasonable considering it's located next to a popular tourist attraction. I would happily visit there again.

Our server Jose was so kind and helpful. He was quick and the food was great. Would definitely come back!

I read the bad reviews before going and we decided to give it a try anyway.

We had realistic expectations, and tried to be positive and use as much of our bad Spanish as we could.

The terrace was busy and you could see that the older waiters were pretty run off their feet. I can totally get where some of these bad experiences and reviews could have come from if these guys were stressed.

If you choose to go here I would say go after your visit to Alhambra so you have plenty of time and can chill.

In the end we had a great experience

Fantastic for a late lunch after the Alhambra. Don’t be fooled, there is a indoor dining area to the right of bar thru the frosted door.

We went there for a drink before our tour. Very nice outside seating, quick service and very fair prices. Definitely worth the break.

Very nice place to get something to drink after visiting Alhambra. There is a green area were you can chill, and prices are not so high (sangria for 3 euros is totally ok)
