Plaza Isabel La Católica

A monument represent an important scene for this part of Spain.

It is located very close to the old town and close to the road leading to the castle. It's impossible to miss it. The fountains around are a beautiful decoration of the statue and the entire city.

It is worth walking through this place with a local guide. Free walks around this part of the city are organized every day.

beautiful statue but at night, you can see it with the lights to amplify it though not so good when you take a picture on your mobile unless you have those with more powerful night lens. lovely place for a walk around.

It’s very beautiful at night. The plaza is right in the center which you will pass by all the time when you fool walk around the city. There’s a Starbucks nearby. It’s said when there’s a Starbucks, there’s the most important area around. :)

What can you say about Isabel? She has style. She makes her presence known at the Heart of Granada Centro, you cant miss her! Also, very close by is where you take the buses to the Alhambra, Mirador San Nicolas among other hot spots. Aside from that its just a good spot to sit and rest.

Very nice central square with beautiful monumental buildings and hotel. In thé middle you see thé statue of Christopher Columbus presenting his plans to thé catholic queen Isabel with thé intention to discover new worlds .

This area of Granada has the cathedral which is worth a visit, and little lanes with shops selling nice touristy things. There are restaurants nearby too. Worth a visit.

So festive! I loved walking through Granada at night in December.

Of many monuments to be found throughout Granada, this is one of the loveliest. You will not need long to have a good look and take some beautiful photographs. It is in a fine part of the city center, as well. If you want food, shopping, or banking, it is just steps away.
