Wow. Exceptional. We enjoyed our stay so much. Excellent personal design by the owners. Excellent service by everyone. Excellent food (French chef added an extra touch that was subtle and creative). And what a stunning location. We booked for four nights and stayed six. You can can walk to Valderrobres or around the countryside. Beautiful pool and plenty of places to sit, read, relax. Thanks to everyone, especially Fernando for organising a pick-up in exceptionally high winds made it too dangerous to motorcycle the last 40 minutes to the hotel! Christian: I hope you renjoy Anti-fragile!

Superb hotel in a quiet location. Great hospitality, amazing views across the Spanish countryside, super comfortable rooms, good food and high level of service with a personal touch from the owners. The staff is very helpful, friendly and professional. The honesty bar, with its large variety of local and international wines and spirits, was a temptation we could not resist during our weekend stay. We will return.

I absolutely love this place! The owners are a lovely couple who take the time to get to know their guests, making them feel at home.
The food was OK this time, I think with the proper guidance, the chef could make better choices with regards on the ingredients chosen. I had a tuna fillet for dinner one evening, and sadly, I did not like the flavours. It's a shame that the restaurant staff were overwhelmed that day, otherwise I would have let them know.
Nevertheless, I am hoping to go back again this year. All the best!

Fabulous place. Great setting, food and service. Fernando was delightful and extraordinarily attentive seeing to our every need.

Outstanding property in a truly stunning location. Beautifully presented and imaginatively furnished by proud owners Christian and Francoise, who are a reassuring and visible presence. Food has a distinctly Gallic influence, but uses local produce, with limited but excellent choice on a daily changed table d'hôte.
There are many amazing and challenging walks in the area - including several from the front door of the hotel. Christian kindly assisted in suggesting routes and translating directions from Spanish to English. Hope we return one day !

Beautiful clean rooms, well appointed with modern features.
Meals are elegantly presented with exceptional cooking. Truely a rare spot to experience the natural surroundings in comfort. Accented with an infinity pool and lush landscaping.

From the moment you arrive you cannot help but be impressed by the hotel, its setting and the wonderful scenery. The location is in itself stunning with the views of the surrounding mountains, the greenery, the beautifully tended almond groves and other farmland areas and the carefully sculpted and tended gardens around the hotel. The original buildings have been carefully and lovingly renovated and additional areas sympathetically added to create the hotel. The thoughtful attention to detail makes this hotel stand out and allows guests to indulge in a luxurious environment where nothing is too much effort for the wonderful staff. All this is matched by a wonderful kitchen. We had sumptuous breakfasts with much local produce, fresh breads and pastries. Once on the terrace outside the restaurant and then in the kitchen. The excellent dinners, served in the restaurant, were beautifully prepared. The lounge, the TV room and the library offered a choice of places to relax and enjoy the tranquillity of the hotel and surrounding countryside. Well done Christian and your team. We will be back.

Wow, what a indescribable experience!
It‘s definitely one of the best hotels I‘ve ever been too!
- super welcoming staff and of course extraordinary hosts, Christian and Paquita
- an area which is so calm, that you can get rid off your stress
- fantastic refurbished farm house with so many details, it‘s unbelievable (for sure when you see the photos of before & after)
- their new head cook will let you discover the flavours of the area
- they even have a wine cellar(including orher drinks) where you can serve yourself and put it on your room, which is a fantastic experience and definitely lets you feel like at home :-)

We truly loved our stay, and the views.

Absolutely gorgeous, peaceful, wonderful place. Have returned MANY times and am always completely charmed. Just recently spent New Year's Eve with a few days before and after and LOVED the cuisine, and continued to love every other aspect of this hotel, from the interior decoration, to the beddings, to the cleanliness, to the Turkish bath, the tranquility, the service, the wine list (with a couple of excellent Italian wines, among others!), the hosts, the environment, and the classical music concert on New Year's, as well as the fireworks, dancing, and incredible meal to finish the year. We will return whenever we can!

El Mas de la Costa is a lovely Mas in a stunning location.
The owners Christian and Paquita have done an amazing job, the explained us the refurbished an old farm that used to belong to their family........ well done because the result is there and every detail has been taken care of….. there’s high quality in equipment facilities…….
Also the area is beautifull, the hotel is located in the Spanish Toscane…… places around are just breathtaking.
Well, this place gives everything you’re expecting when you’re having Holidays: Nice place, great staff, good food, amazing landscape…….

FORMIDABLE! La ubicación ideal para hacer senderismo o para descansar y escuchar a los pajaritos. Muy cerca del pueblo Valderrobres, muy bonito, recomendable visitar.
El servicio es impecable. Los dueños muy amables.
La decoración es difícil de mejorar y la calidad de las instalaciones también. Admiten mascotas. Estuvimos en una habitación con salida a un pequeño jardín. En resumen ningún reparo.

Ubicado fuera del pueblo, permite desconectar y encontrar paz y tranquilidad.
La decoración es de un gusto maravilloso, tienen un ambiente confortable y acogedor.
El peinado es muy atento y amable.

La cocina utiliza pedicuros locales y la comida es casera de alto nivel.
Ideal para descasar, desconectar y conocer los alrededores.

Es la primera vez que repetimos en un sitio. Esta vez la habitación no era tan espectacular como la anterior, pero aún así, un hotel fantástico en un entorno maravilloso y expectacular, pero lo que realmente hace un sitio así excepcional, es su gente y en especial Agustín y Rubén, unos profesionales excepcionales y aún más si cabe como personas, por sus principios, valores y forma de ver la vida. Un saludo muy grande para los dos de Dori y Pepe desde Valencia, los del vino rosado.

Me aloje unos días con mi pareja en primavera. La estancia fue magnífica. El personal muy amable y agradable, te hacen sentir como en casa. La comida exquisita, tienen para el medio día una carta de temporada y para las cenas el menú cambia todas las noches. Hay muchos lugares cerca del hotel para descubrir en coche o para realizar rutas a pie. El entorno es maravilloso... seguramente repetiré en verano para disfrutar de la piscina. El spa está muy bien...
