Such a quaint and cosy experience. We had a lovely meal and fabulous wine. The staff were very patient and friendly. We highly recommend to try the Carrlleras Estofadas and the Rabo de Toro.

Definitely will come back for dinner again. Everything we ordered was beautifully prepared and delicious!

Friendly bar serving great local white wine and delicious fresh sardines. The red wine salt on them made them even more delicious and they were cooked to perfection.

This is a delightful cafe/restaurant located near the MARQ museum. Excellent selection of wines and cocktails.

The food is simply marvelous. We started with a mixed salad plate that went beyond mere lettuce and tomato. There was a mix of olives, mohama, green onion and more. We followed this with a cheese and salchicha platter that featured 4 or 5 varieties of cheese from cow, goat, sheep. One in particular was shaved from a wheel produced in Pinosa. Such a nutty, earthy flavor. Simply marvelous. The meats were equally delicious.

Our main course was a whole fish grilled a la plancha and to perfection.

We paired red wines from the Ribero del Duero with the starters. With the fish we went with Rueda Verdejo that was crisp and just a perfect acidity for the fish.

Give this place a try. Pleasant attentive staff. Traditional surroundings.

This place might not be in the city centre but it is totally worth the visit. We stopped here to have few drinks before dinner but we saw the menu and decided to stay for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised. The menu has a variety of mostly fish and meat dishes and some vegetable ones. Very traditional Alicante and Valencian food. The staff was attentive and willing to suggest the best menu choices. You can also bring your own bottle and buy wine from the barrels. I will definitely come back next time we are around.

Best service and food in Alicante! Definitely coming back to try all the things on the menu which has a lot of options for every taste! Desserts are out of this world!

This is one of the best examples of a neighborhood restaurant not just in Alicante but in Spain as a whole. The staff were lovely and the food was so good! We had the achovy tapa to start, followed by fried whole fish, salad with tuna (atun ventresca) and tomato salad and gambas al ajillo (prawns cooked in garlic and olive oil). I can't wait to go back.

La comida en este restaurante es simplemente excepcional, especialmente sus platos de mariscos. Cada bocado es una explosión de frescura y sabor. Recomiendo encarecidamente probar sus especialidades de mariscos. ¡Una experiencia gastronómica inolvidable!

Descubrimos este restaurante en el barrio del pla del bon repos. Una antigua bodega que conserva su esencia de dentro. Tienen un menú por 22€ con arroz que esta muy bien.

Local con solera. No tiene muchas mesas que pueden ser compartidas.
También dispone de un comedor (el Menjador).

Cibo fantastico, specialmente il pulpo. Vino della casa economico e buonissimo. Servizio fantastico: in particolare la cameriera italiana (credo Laura) di origine toscana che è davvero simpatica e professionale. Da provare.

En la zona del MARQ de Alicante, escondido en una parte totalmente de barrio, sin que nada de lo que ves fuera del local te haga imaginar lo que vas a descubrir, está el Gambin, que es un Templo Gastronómico.

Me recuerda mucho a Sevilla donde en cualquier rincón de un barrio puedes encontrar este tipo de Templos que solo conocen unos pocos.

Una atención perfecta, cercanos y profesionales en su justa medida, platos muy originales, cocina de mercado, y mucho cariño en lo que hacen. El local por dentro muy acogedor.

El arroz estaba muy bueno, aunque un pelín entero. Se lo comentamos a la camarera y al dueño. Con eso, un sabor muy bueno.

Es un sitio al que hay que volver.
