Hotel Spa Porta Maris by Meliá

This is the most beautiful hotel and amazing spa! I was given a room with a balcony which has amazing view of the marina. Receptionist was lovely not sure what her name was, she helped me with everything I needed.

Room was spacious and bathroom was huge!! Cleanliness of the room and hotel was on spot!

Breakfast was amazing and has great views!
Spa is wonderful, it costs only €25 for 90 minutes to enter the pool, sauna etc.

I would highly recommend this hotel you could never go wrong!

we had a 3 night stay in March in a premium sea view suite, views were amazing from suite, breakfast area beside the pool and restaurant area's. Our suite was amazing and bed was so comfortable for a great night's sleep, no noise from other rooms and two tv's and two separate controls for air conditioning, plenty of storage and open plan bathing and shower all added to spacious feel. Great location just beside the beach and marina. easy walk to Alicante shops and restaurants, we Loved it

Our second year at this hotel and I can't wait to stay here next year. Amazing staff. Our flight was at 6am and they made us a packed breakfast..

We had a good time at the hotel between 7-10.12.2023. The room was quite big even though it looked a bit old. The bathroom had both bathtub and bide which was really nice.
The Nespresso machines at breakfast made really nice coffee, I really appreciated that. Breakfast is overall good but could be improved with some smoothies. Dinner was good, not buffet but still good food.
You have a free Cava drink in the casino across the road. Me and my wife took this opportunity to visit a casino for the first time ever.
The gym could be improved with more equipment like heavier dumbbells, a bench press etc.
Staff is nice and cooperative.

This is a lovely hotel if you are going to Alicante it over looks the sea on one side and the Mariena on the other we had a junior sweet overlooking the sea and 8t was very spacious very comfortable and had a beautiful view especially in the morning when the sun was rising.

We have just spent a week at this hotel and enjoyed immensely. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was great lots of hot and cold options and lovely fresh orange.
Several different coffees to choose from too.
We travelled from the airport by bus and the stop is just a few minutes walk from the hotel.
The pool is a little cold to be very enjoyable but it was only March so may be warmer later in the year.
We had a marina view room which was spacious and kept nice and clean by the excellent cleaning staff. Only down side were the night clubs across the road which could get a little noisy but didn't impede on sleep too much.
We had the sun on the balcony in the afternoon and evening which was lovely.

Beautiful location, beautiful view from whatever room you’re in, very nice and kind service. Everything is close and easy to get to.

Great hotel, the swimming pool is so quiet, such a good place to relax, I wish the swimming pool had some sunny. It’s very near to the beach, you are able to to everything on foot, restaurants nearby. There is 2 restaurants at the hotel but only saw one, the second wasn’t mentioned nut a friend find it by mistake. There is also a separated swimming pool but I don’t know who could acess. There is a spa, amazing, really worth the experience. There is also massage. The view from the hotel is so amazing.

A fantastic hotel. Amazing location. Staff so friendly and helpful. Especially Ana the receptionist nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were spacious and modern. Tea making facilities in room. The bath towels actually wrap round you not like some skimpy ones that get offered in hotels.
My room mate did the spa and said it was fantastic (25€ 1.5hrs) !!!
There was a car park next door... Or 2 across the road... With discount 19.90€ per 24hr parking.
Breakfast.. so much choice think I gained a couple of kilos over the weekend!
The panoramic views from the dining room was so picturesque so beautiful ideal for eating breakfast or sitting in the reception area and watch the world go by.
Would definitely stay here again!! Just need to start saving.

We had an amazing time at the hotel, breakfast was delicious and so much to choose from, the centre (explanada) was a 5 minute walk and from there everything is near 😉 loved our stay!

Very nice hotel, good locatian and excellent service

We enjoy our stay during our visit in Alicante. The hotel is located in a great location right on the ocean. We had a nice balcony with a great view of the bay overlooking the sail boats and ships.

We were in walking distance to many restaurants, bars, shopping, Casino and sightseeing. As well as a Tram stop close by and a walking deck on the Pier.

We were located on the 2nd floor. The room was quiet and peaceful. The comfort of the bed was very good. We had a great night sleep every night. The room was very large in comparison to most European hotel rooms.

We stopped at the pool and spa which looked very refreshing, but due to our sightseeing and late evening schedule we were not able to enjoy it.

The escalator was broken throughout our entire stay. However they have an elevator nearby that added additional wait time.

The staff was pleasant and friendly and overall, we had a great experience during our stay in Alicante.

This is an upscale, modern hotel in an excellent location. Breakfast was excellent as was the service in the breakfast room and at reception. The balcony was small but private. The only small disappointment was that the indoor pool was not heated. The outside pool was part of a spa for which additional payment is needed.
