Biggest supermarket I could find in the area, ideal for getting supplies for picnic or snacks because they also sell things like disposable cups and plates and things. Closest thing to a British supermarket you will find here.

The staff when I visited were super friendly if you ask politely and helped me find stuff.

Definitely will be using this place again before I leave.

Great for a bit of shopping if you're staying in an air BnB or want to make your own tapas. Costs roughly 30€ to buy enough for two people for two days.

Similar to a US grocery store experience. Bring your own bag to carry purchases home and enjoy shopping. If visiting Alicante and you have a kitchen this is were to shop for supplies. Good prices and selection.

Great size can get all the basic things you need aswell as fresh bread and seafood, however you are not allowed in without outside bags so either dont bring them or they must go in the locker for 0.50

Hello everyone, Mercadona is your Tesco, Aldi and Lidl rolled into one. Number 1, great value for cash. Always good produce in the Fruits and Vegetables section, fresh fish, good quality meats, wonderful local and international cheese selections, all the household/kitchen/bathroom necessities, good off-license section with cheap beer and good wines - perfect for BBQ's, picnics, or home entertainment.... burp!!!! ;) Also, the staff are pleasant, friendly, professional people and are always very helpful... they are Alicantian/Valencian,,, so it goes without saying. Mercadone is really good supermarket and probably the best. Is cheap and have variety of products. It's open between 9 am and 9:30pm.

Low prices, fresh food. There are always free parking spaces.

Nice shop. Staff friendly. Lots of choice, pity I can't carry anymore...

Convenient to our location. I loved their chocolate napoleon.
