Pingo Doce Cerveira - Lugar de Faias

A very good Pingo doce with a nice restaurant. Delicious food and snack are available as well. I was alone and I enjoyed a lot while traveling to Spain.
Second time there to have a dinner. The staff were kind and allowed me to warm my dinner there.

I love Pingo. If anyone can tell me what "Pingo" means I'd appreciate it. Apparently "doce" means "sweet".

The dried fish however, is anything but.

This is a very good supermarket. Here we find a good variety of fruits, vegetables, meet, fresh and frozen food, fresh bread, drinks, dairy products, toilet products, toys, household, etc. Outside there a few shops and a car park.

Fresh fruits and vegetables available..almost Everything available at good price but no information counter. I couldn't activate their card for discounts

When in this area of Portugal we use Pingo Doce as do the Spanish. It is very good but we find Lidl in Spain is cheaper but the range they stock is very goodbut not as good as Pingo.
