Camping Alegría del Mar

Great place to stay.
Bar/restaurant served good food and reasonably priced.
Staff are friendly and helpful, however Miguel had just the right amount of attentiveness, the campsites secret weapon.
Entertainment some nights but not till 9pm so if you want a quiet dinner you can.
Lovely owners.
15min walk to a small town and marina.
Beach 3 min walk out the back of the campsite, no good if you have mobility issues, but there is a pool.
Highly recommend, we will be back 🌻

Great owner, nice atmosphere and perfect location. We landed on this nice campinng for 1 night but if we could we would stay longer. Katie who runs the campsite provided us huge support. The pitch for a tent was nice and cozy. We got free drinks on check in and there was very nice concert in the evening. I highly recomend this campsite. Clean, nice and very well organized!

Lovely site, can not fault it for cleanliness, service, bar and food. Only downside during our stay is that a couple of people had little yapping dogs that were so annoying. Would of stayed longer of it wasn't for this. Overall definitely a 5 star but owners/staff should move people on with dogs that think they are bigger than they are.

Motorhome pitch for a week that turned into 41 nights will be going again the staff are brilliant and the residents also 👍

This was my first camping experience. I liked everything: there is a bar to eat, a playground, showers (clean with hot water), everything is nice and comfortable.

This place is in our opinion a hidden gem! Beautifully situated near the sea in a quiet area. Campsites offers all we need, fresh bread, a cold beer and hot showers. The xl parcels are spacious. Showers and toilets are spotless clean. Ideal place for us, seniors off season! We will come back.

Excellent highly recommend going to Camping Alegría del Mar. Plenty of things for Children to do and Adults!!! The Beach is only a few minutes away. Something on every night. Paella, bingo, karaoke, live entertainment

Great value for money, excellent bar and restaurant, takeaway service if required, cracking shop stocks all sorts from frozen foods to wine! Staff really friendly, go the extra mile to help out, great clean facilities. Beach a stone throw away with lots to do locally

A jewel of a campsite.

The staff in reception are friendly, helpful and multi-lingual. The pitches are a generous size with electrical hook ups and water supply. The pitches are fairly level with a gravel surface. The bar/restaurant does a wide selection of food, which is well prepared and tasty. The little shop on site at reception keeps a reasonable range of goods, including fresh bread every morning. The site has pretty much 100% wifi coverage. The wifi speed isn't stunning, but is perfectly adequate for general web browsing. The site is very dog friendly, but dogs are required to be kept on a lead - which is only to be expected. The site is approximately 250m from the beach and about 2km from the town.

I'd most definitely be happy to return here in future.

Really loved this campsite. Great friendly staff who made us very welcome. Small shop that was packed with loads of British stuff as well as local produce. Entertainment on every day. Short walk to the stony beach, but other beaches and bars/restaurants further along in the town. Would highly recommend this site.

Chosen from SearchforSites (I think!) when looking for a site travelling north up the N340. Booked two nights. Excellent welcome and the bar/restaurant was really good. Staff superb. Will defo stay again when in the area.

We stayed three nights in January! Lovely place with excellent links to Benicarlo and Peniscola! The cycling was great! We also cycled to Vineros, so quite a few things to visit! Showers and toilets clean and plenty of hot water! Well stocked shop with many English products. The reception staff were lovely! Great pitches! Only 4kw electricity per day then an extra charge. We didn’t go over so for twenty euros a night it was excellent value for money!

A very friendly place. The owner is very helpful and all the staff were very friendly. The food in the restaurant was delicious. Campsite is very clean and so are the toilets and showers. We really enjoyed our stay

Stayed here during Xmas 2018 & New Year with twin axle caravan.
100m2, level, gravel pitch.
10A power.
Water connection (not potable).
Grey drain.
Good showers & toilets.
These facilities make caravanning here very easy. Fluent English spoken.
Very good restaurant with fish n chips, bangers n mash, bacon n eggs etc for those that want it. This is a totally British themed site. The central access road is named Coronation Street. Very pleasant & helpful family staff. Would definitely stay here again for 17.50 eu/night.

I think some people are put on this earth to whing and whing even if they are in a 7 star hotel in Dubai
they would find something to moan about that's there life.
The camp site has clean toilets constant running water.helpful staff.
A short walk into town, supermarket
not far away beach 50 meters away large pitch with water what else do you need? as far as expats are concerned they are very helpful people with local knowledge on restaurants specialist shops etc
Oh by the way I booked for 3 night and stayed 35 nights weather was great and that San Miguel man he's always cold and refreshing at the bar
Smashing place

Great campsite, lovely friendly staff. Pool is good, onsite shop with good selection, access to pebble beach which was great for swimming. Entertainment and animation every day. Never been here before but will definitely add this to my list of favourite sites.
